This book does an excellent job of telling the story of what Led Zeppelin was all about. The text is extremely well written, and the photographs are incomparable. Through mostly visual images anyone, even an outsider to the Zeppelin story can get an accurate idea of why the four band members did what they did, and the passion that went into their work. Led Zeppelin was a band made up of talented musicians who loved their music. They fought long and hard to stay true to their idea of what rock and roll was all about. Anyone who feels that Nirvana or Pearl Jam is the best rock (it's all rock, no matter what you call it) band ever needs to read this book. Eddie Vedder can fight Ticket Master "for the fans", and Kurt Cobain may have taken his own life, but remember, Led Zeppelin never released "Stairway to Heaven" as a single. Wonder why?

If you enjoy fantasy girl art, this is the calender for you for 2004. Almost every one of the months is a totally amazing work of art. The mostly-bare ladies are frequently tattooed, gothic, and very artfully rendered. This is my favorite calender this year.

In this book, Serpieri gets even more hardcore than usual. This makes it one of the best books in the Druuna story-line. I still like the illustration books better, but from all the Druuna comic books, this one's the best hands-down.

The sequences in this one are more hard and explicit, but still erotic. Serpieri's work is unique because it's at the same explicit, hardcore, and still something classy and beatiful.

Druuna's beautiful backside has never been explored and exploited like in this book. Serpieri really shows his love for her voluptious body here. But he does that going deeper in her - her emotions, passions and her loves. Doesn't matter if it's a mutant or a regular guy, Druuna gives all of her. All her fantastic nudity, all her body. They seem to be in control, but the truth is that Druuna is the one who's in control.

I found this book exceptional relative to a number of other books I have on Massey Harris tractors. It has more detail such as tire sizes and specifications in addition to serial number information even for obscure tractors such as my I244G of which only a few hunderd were made. It has some pictures, but I would not buy it for the pictures in general - still it has the only published picture of the I244. Oltrogge is the publisher of Massey Harris Collector magazine and he knows his stuff. It is a must have for any Massey collector.

I must confess that most of the artists here are 'after my time', but the section on old fave Jimmy Page is fascinating, with little details on how he got his sounds that could only come in this style format. Assuming that the other artists are portrayed as accurately as Page, (actually, his chapter is worth the price of the book), makes this an indispensible tool for guitarists looking for the 'secret weapons' of the greats.

Most megadeth fans think Risk was a sell-out. Read this and then talk droogies! This is an excellent book which helps the fan to realize the facts and truths beyond the emotional album Risk. Better have it I say...

Yeah!!!...this book here shows why jason newsted is one of the best bass players in rock today. the book teaches you how to play the songs, and are pretty faithfull to the cd. too bad that he left metallica after this, so apreciate this

Yes! Finally a biography/photo collage, that does justice by Metallica. I picked this up a couple weeks ago because of an essay I had to write for a class of mine, and I was blown away! Ross Halfin is the greatest Hard Rock photographer ever. Lars correctly point this out in the introduction of the book. The book covers mostly pictures from the AJFA and Black Album era (mostly from the later) plus some shots from the RTL/MOP era including awesome pictures of Cliff Burton.
I just can't express how great the pictures are.
This book is out of print and if you are lucky enough to get your hands on one of these please don't think it twice of you are a true 'Tallica fan
