A favorite of mine for 26 yearsThis book has been my favorite book since I was a baby. When I was little and my mom read it to me, I got so excited, because I loved spaghetti and I love the silly story! The story is simple and it rhymes as you go along. I can still recite every line! Now I am pregnant with my first baby and I am already having my husband read More Spaghetti I Say! to my belly, I cannot wait to share it with my child. If you are looking for a simple and sweet book with a silly story, this book is for you! also easy to help young ones learn to read, this book is great for everything!
Makes us all laughWe read this book to our 14 month old. He absolutely loves it. He has learned to say "Mmmm" on the appropriate page and there are so many pages that make him laugh out loud. The story is so cute, clever and funny. The illustrations are simple and enable our son to follow along without having to read. It's one that you won't mind reading over and over again. And what kid isn't fascinated by spaghetti?
Adorable Little Book! This is the cutest book I have come across in a long time. I checked this book out at our local library to read to my three-year-old son, and we liked it so much that I bought a copy. Minnie the monkey is bananas over spaghetti! The storyline is simple and interesting---and funny. My son wants me to read this to him every day, sometimes several times a day. I still find the thing amusing, even after having read it more times than I can count. There are a few additional benefits to owning this book. It opens up wonderful opportunities for discussion with your children on such topics as understanding the likes and dislikes of others, being a good playmate, the perils of overindulgience, and being considerate of other people's feelings. Not only that, but a little boy who wouldn't touch spaghetti before, now gladly eats a double portion! :)

Preschool Circle TimeI am a preschool teacher and found this story in a box of my husband's old books. When reading it, the kids love to join in and say 'goodbye' and 'I can...flop!'. Its the only story so far that has gotten all of my kids to sit and listen in circle time at school! The 4 year-olds give this a thumbs up!
Move over, Dr. Seuss! This charming book sends my two- and four-year-olds into hysterics every time we read it. A little monkey (Minnie) attempts to fly to no avail, and continues to get bad advice from his winged friends. It really tickles the little ones' funny bones every time Minnie flops instead of flying. I can't believe it wasn't written by Seuss--the text is just as tight and well-rhymed as his books.
I finally found IT!I read this when I was a 7 year old child in the 70s... I have looked a lot of places (libraries, stores, etc.) for the past ten years to no avail...
This book is a wonderful example of what good friends are like. I got teary eyed when I told my wife about the story. I definitley plan on purchasing this for my children.

Leave It to MinnieLeave it to Minnie is a sequel to "More Spaghetti, I Say!" Freddy and Minnie are mischievous monkeys who do things young children see as
very funny. Although children find "Leave to Minnie" a little harder to read than "More Spagetti I Say", a first or second grader will enjoy reading this book.
