Some of the most astonishing news to date revealedDianne Robbins has written a very powerful body of knowledge, written from a sphere of love. I Do feel strongly connected with the Lemurians, and know without doubt that the information revealed in this work is truth. The tone and content is coming from a very loving energy, one of empowerment and encouragement.
I do believe that as we progress here during the next 8 years, until the 2012 Mayan Calendar date, much more will be revealed to us. We all have the opportunity to ready ourselves in order to mingle and share ourselves spiritually with our brothers and sisters of the subterranean cities. I am thankful to have this opportunity. I would recommend this book to anyone who is open to the information here, regardless of how fantastic it may seem. As someone else predicted about this book, I, too believe it will become a classic in its own right. Thank you again Dianne. Much Love and Light.
AN UPLIFTING REVELATION OF LOVEThis book Channeled by Robbins presents one of the most outstanding revelations for mankind at the present time; and shockingly this time from Earth's interior. The book is crucial especially now at these challenging years before 2012.
The details from this unusual work astonished and surprised me: that there are millions down there, in Telos and in the Inner Earth, that they have a central sun, a rich, healthy glorious fauna and flora complete with oceans and mountains still in their pristine state.
I am familiar with the story of Shamballa and knew that something peculiar was going on within Mount Shasta but there was no straightforward message from anyone from down there, (except some sporadic information: see for instance the book Secrets from Mount Shasta by Earlyne Chaney)
Adama, Of the city of telos within Shasta, and Mikos describe a paradise a Shangri-La type where violence, hate, poverty, pollution, chaos and overpopulation are totally unknown.
This fantastic human dreamland, according to Adama, and Mikos-head of the high tech library of Porthologos--must be understood in its emotional and spiritual signification, where love for life and nature, and honesty reign supreme.
In order to maintain their endless spiritual progression Telosians must help us in our spiritual liberation and emotional progression. It is evident we need help with our daily battles with materialism.
"Love is the Liberator" the Divine Mind cannot be defeated, as Mary Baker Eddy in Science and Health, declares.
What is real to a scientist? The geocentric view of the universe used to dominate western thought. Every "learned" man of reason knew for fact that the universe revolved around the flat Earth.
Know the heliocentric concept of the Universe is the order of the day and anyone who disputes otherwise is a madman and a fool.
In the same way the "authorities" and "experts" of modern man changed their minds about their environment in previous years, so will they change their minds once again about the existence of the people described in this book.
The flaky reputation of New Age mysticism is just a way for people to debunk these people who are a modern mystery. The truth will reveal itself to us regardless if we want to believe it or not.

A must read for anyone who would teachGregory's observations are organised into explanations of seven laws (hence the title):
The Law of the Lesson
The Law of the Language
The Law of the Teacher
The Law of the Teaching Process
The Law of the Learner
The Law of the Learning Process
The Law of Review
His key insight is that knowledge is not a commodity that can be transferred from mind to mind in the way that a physical object is transferred from hand to hand. Thus teaching is fundamentally a conversation, and the object of the teacher is not to directly transmit knowledge. Rather, the teacher's goal is to excite the student to self discovery and to direct him or her in that process of discovery. The teacher should only resort to direct communication of the material when it is necessary to quickly provide context for the main lesson to be learned.
The stress upon review done properly is equally important. For Gregory, review is not successful if the teacher merely elicits a verbatim recitation of the lesson imparted. Review should be structured in a way that requires the student to have internalised the lesson and be able to apply it experientially.
Even though the book is thin, Gregory gives many practical tips for making teaching work and many of examples of what doesn't work. In fact, the thinness is a virtue. One can easily read a chapter in a very short sitting, but then spend the rest of one's day evaluating one's own teaching by his standards and pondering what changes could be made to improve one's teaching.
Amazing!

This simple tale of a holiday adventure is perfect for any child planning--or reminiscing about--a trip to the shore. Stephen Huneck's text is a quiet tribute to the magic of a sunny day in the sand and surf. But the indisputable wonder of this book is the artwork. Internationally known artist Huneck created every woodcut print by hand, drawing the design in crayon, then carving one block of wood for each color in the appropriate shape. The result is a stunning collection of brightly colored woodcut prints showing spry Sally diving in the ocean, riding boats, and digging holes in the sand. As in his clever My Dog's Brain, Huneck modeled Sally after his very own Labrador retriever, also named Sally. (Ages 3 to 7) --Emilie Coulter

Sweetie Awo Goes to Boarding SchoolSweetie Awo is having a hay-time in school. Mr. Odiko's captivating stories that always end-up keeping the class in anticipation of what would happen next; the "We Five" club comprising of four other friends; scoring almost perfectly in her spelling test; and, in-class color competition, are some of the events that usually illuminate and electrify her school experience. At home, the interaction and bond with various members of the family and extended family usually give her the courage and security she needs to know she is not alone even though her parents may not be home. This cohesive relationship among family members is one of the determinants of the African culture.
Living in a compound-like setting breeds values that can be good or bad. Sweetie Awo is lucky. She is growing in the midst of family members who uphold good values and morality. These values are practiced among family members and transferred to the younger generation. In most cases, the younger generation learns by observation. As for Sweetie Awo, some of the values learned at this young age are: respect for elders - not to call older people names for example; patience; keeping promises; obedience; honesty; knowing the significance of education such as: paying attention in class, participating in class/school activities, and to be prepared for school always.
Sweetie Awo thinks all the fun she enjoys in school and home will soon evaporate when she heard that she will be transferred to a boarding school and her father will also be transferred to another city. What should she do? Should she go to the boarding school and make new friends or, live with her auntie or grandmother and attend her old school hence, keeping her old friends, or should she move with her father to another city and make new friends all over again? It was a difficult choice to make. Finally, one of her friends made it easier for her to choose - she is also being transferred to the same boarding school. Now, Sweetie Awo is happy; she won't be lonely in boarding school.
The author highlights some traits that constitute the pillars of education in Africa, which are: living in a compound and attending a boarding school. Living in a compound enhances closer ties with each family and non family member. This happened when the older and more experienced unconsciously become role models, mentors, surrogate parents and disciplinarians of the young just as the adage affirms, "It takes a village to raise a child." Another area cited by the author that fosters closer relationship within compound living is sharing - especially of food and other household amenities. This type of relationship breaks down the walls of individualism and fosters collectivism, i.e., "I am my brother's keeper."
Boarding school in my opinion is the most preferred system of education to those that can afford it. In Africa, it is the most respected. In boarding school, character is formed, live-time friends are made, skills are formulated, structure is followed, discipline is maintained, study and/or play groups are made, visits by family members and/or holidays are more appreciated, and lastly and not the least, education is not taken for granted - the opportunity is taken seriously.

Genertional StudyAntigone ("Tig"), the head of the clan, is a former activist who is taking a year off to walk across America from California to Cape Cod with an environmentalist group, maybe to get in touch with her past. Her correspondents are husband Marz, daughters Justice and Solidarity (right there, I had doubts about heroine Tig, who would burden her children with such names!), and grandchildren Ben and Hope. Tig and Marz, highly intelligent, have had marital problems in the past mostly because of Tig's high-minded activism. The daughters are polar opposites, Justice is a rigid conformist; Solidarity has drifted through life with few goals. The grandchildren, both teenagers are well drawn; Ben comes off as a wise child; Hope is achingly innocent, stubborn and idealistic. When Hope falls in love with a Native American boy who is about as stable as an earthquake, a tragedy is in the making.
While the story was interesting, I was continually irritated by the passivity of the characters. I became more and more sympathetic with Justice, mother of Hope and Ben, who was frantically trying to head off a maelstrom while the rest of the family counseled patience and love. Why on earth Tig did not abandon her march to help put out fires on the home front makes her seem grotesquely selfish. Marz's platitudes and reasoning are at best ineffectual, at worst down right stupid. The Warriner's solution to an 800-lb. gorilla in the living room was to pretend he wasn't there.
The story is strong enough to make the reader care, but not necessarily like the main characters. This would be a good book club selection because everyone will have strong opinions that should make for a good rousing discussion.

A Terrific Story in LettersI really enjoy epistolary novels, and was in awe of the way Joanne Greenberg was able to find such an authentic and distinctive *voice* and writing style for each character. Tig's wisdom and her ability to smooth things over/negotiate/arbitrate/give advice was apparent in her letters, although she was not a totally sympathetic character. She has always been an activist and sometimes, as a younger woman, put her causes before her commitment to her daughters and her marriage.
Through these letters, we see family interaction in a unique way. It is not always a good picture, but I think it is honest and explores many issues faced (or not faced) by families today.
Tough going in places, this book is not one I will forget.
