Gossip and tall tales abound here
Fans of Hollywood gossip will find this an entertaining memoir which examines what part is played in the movies and television by production designers. The author has been a production designer for over thirty years: he's worked with many talents and his job is to make locations realistic - from the actors to the scenery. Gossip and tall tales abound here.

What! The book's over?
A hiliarious peek at what happens behind the scenes, this funny book tells the stories that don't even make it to the "Making Of..." books and movies. Peter Wooley talks about Blazing Saddles, The Day After, High Anxiety and more. This is the great stuff that goes on in the movie industry, not just behind the camera, but behind the behind the camera!

Best of all, it's the really funny stuff and the quick-witted one-liners and stories that make it a hilarious read.

About the only negative thing I can say is that I would have loved to hear more about Blazing Saddles, one of my favorite movies of all time: "The sherrif's a..."

A Child is Parent to the Adult
If the book is 1/10 as fascinating as the movie, it's a winner. A 'must see' for all parents, educators, POLITICIANS!, sociologists, mental health professionals and everyone else who cares about who we are as humans. Entertaining as well as deeply thought-provoking.

Connecting with your higher self made simple & fast
BUY IT FIRST !!! OK, probably like you, I have bookshelves full of books that I thought would help me identify my issues/self limiting beliefs, understand where they came from and deal with them. This of course comes after giving up on stockpiling books about how to change others to get what you want. Finally you realize YOU need to give YOU what you want to be happy, but how? By page 30 of this EASY TO READ book, the essential ideas of tons of other books on the subject have been covered, simply and QUICKLY. It's like someone plowed through all the available info on the subject, distilled it for people with short attention spans and leads you simply and quickly to the points that you need to get, speaking directly and understandably to you. Written by husband/wife team who discuss very openly what their issues were in getting to the place we all want to get to (Part 1). Part 2 is how to inventory and deal with your own stuff. I could have saved a ton of money, frustration and time, had I bought this one first. Think I'll take their seminar as well, regardless of location or cost. These folks have it nailed and have made it as easy as it's going to get. If you are tired of [working with] this stuff, getting a little here and a little there and just want to finally get it done, then I highly recommend this book. Get this, the WORKBOOK version... that is if you are ready to DO your work and quit reading up on it.

He Will Never Give Up On You! Never? Never!
I read this book in a couple of evenings, hardly being able to put it down. I am a Christian, and have a strong faith in God. This book explains how to except God's salvation, even a prayer to ask God to come into your lives, and explains how much God loves us and how dedicated He is to each of us. There is several chapters on motivation as well as dealing with the "Why me ?"question. Joe Barnett does a wonderful job. I was so moved I could hardly wait to finish so I could share this book with my brother and order a couple more books to share with friends.

A MUST READ for everyone that's wondering how to defend Christianity in the sea of false faiths. I'm buying more copies for several high school students to use as a study guide for doing battle with the world!

What are the practical benefits of Christianity? • What are the four duties of every committed Christian? • What does a humanist believe? • What should every Christian student know before going to college? • Can I really defend the biblical account of creation to my secular friends? • What evidence is there to prove the Bible is of supernatural nature? • Can prophecy be used to prove the Bible? • Why is the Christian worldview superior to all others? • Why should Christians never operate out of fear and defeat? And More!

Check out these contributing authors: Ken Ham, David Barton, David Noebel, Marshall Foster, Brannon Howse, Don Wildmon, Rob Lindsted and Bill Jack

Give up the good to GO for the GREAT.
This is a fine book of inspirational quotations. It is a small square hardcover book, with a top notch layout and construction, and dust jacket. There are 1 to 3 quotations on a page (mostly 3), and there are approximately 126 pages.

"How exciting are your dreams? Most people don't aim too high and miss-they aim too low and hit!" (back cover)-Bob Moawad

The collection is well chosen, and focused entirely on GOING FOR IT. Thus there won't be some sections you will like, and some you won't. It is all one section, one theme.

"If your dream is big enough, the facts don't count."-Don Ward

"Forsake all inhibitions. Pursue thy dreams!"-Walt Whitman

This book is excellent as a gift book, as well as for your own life.
