A great read!
This was an excellent book! This man is a born storyteller! I literally laughed out loud! I look forward to reading more of his work and to seeing him in person!

outstanding
Dale Henry makes learning fun. Truly an original, he brings the wisdom of Proverbs to life through personal experiences, sometimes quite moving and often hilarious. He is the friendly uncle or older brother whose stories you love to hear, and whose advice you respect. Insightful, never preachy, and a whole lot of fun.

Anyone who shies away from this book due to Dale Henry's openly Christian beliefs is doing themselves a huge disservice. These principles are good, right and true whether you are Christian or not, and are well worth the read.

Larry Hehn, Author of Get the Prize: Nine Keys for a Life of Victory

You have to read this.....
This is the book to read if you want to laugh till you cry, and learn a little something about yourself along the way. Should you come away with nothing after reading this, then read it again, you missed something!

Wow!
Oh my gosh! This is the best book. It is about a girl whosecretly joins the boys football team. Then they find out somethingshocking! Read this book to find out. All I can say, WOW!

very funny
I love how Elaine Moore described the characters . In most books everything always goes right , I don't like that, but this book didn't. it was so funny , espically when they found out she was a girl.

Hilarious!
I thought this book was hilarious! It was definitely a very fitting sequel to the first. I am sure that if there are any more sequels, they will be equally funny!

Highly recommended
This book is explains CFS to those of us with friends struggling with this illness. Stephanie's descriptions are so real that I almost felt as if I knew her. I truly felt as if I understood this illness in a personal way and I never realized previously what a huge impact this can have on someone's life. I would recommend this book to anyone who has this illness, and especially to friends and family of people with CFS.

Mom of a CFS victim
This book has helped me understand the frustration, pain and lonliness my daughter has suffered! What insight into a world those around these victims rarely see. Thank you, Stephanie, for sharing your life with this disease to help others and their families.

If you would just get out of bed
If you are the parent, relative, or friend of a person diagnosed with chronic fatique, you need to read this book to understand what frustration and depression this person is going through. This illness is difficult to accept because the person doesn't appear sick -- just lazy. If only that were the case........

24 Ready-to-Go
This is a wonderful book. It is a great resource for teachers and offers a variety of reproducibles for use in the classroom. I would recommend this book to anyone who actively works in the classroom.

Thanks!
This book is a timesaver in every way: the ideas are great, the pages to photocopy are well thought out, and the scoring rubrics are very helpful! I'll use this book alot in my fourth grade classroom this year!

Full of great ideas, easy to use
This book is a wonderful resource, and full of great book report ideas. I like the pages that can be photocopied and distributed to the students. I have already used four of the projects, and found they are really well done.

A truly great book
I only learned of this book recently. Wished I had known of it earlier. I felt the author spoke about my needs and it could have helped me to avoid so many mistakes. Going to college without this book is like getting into a car to drive without first learning to drive. A really valuable book. It inspires and gives golden wisdom. This author knows how to talk to me!!!

A great, inpspiring book
Stands out as a great inspirational how-to book. Full of very insightful advice. I learned a lot from reading it. I felt as if the author was with me, encouraging me. Chapter 2, "Foundations for your success in college and in life," taught me a lot, as did the chapter on overcoming personal difficulties. Chapter 1 and 23 were very, very inspiring. The advice on how to do excellently in academic work is definitely the best I have ever seen, having browsed several college how-to books. This book really motivated me. Since reading it, I wake up every day more determined to be a success than I ever was before.

I highly, highly recommend
I highly, highly recommend this book. It's very inspiring, it not only told me what to do, but motivated me to want to do what I must to improve. It's like the author was talking to me giving me one-on-one counseling to best shape my life. It was a joy to read, clearly written, full of wisdom, and with a really nice typeset. It has advice that can really benefit anyone. Everyone should read it.

A Delightful Book
Watching the expressions of my adult children and my grandchildren as they read this story was wonderful. Smiles all around. That Ms. Schulz could put in writing what we have all experienced with "man's best friend" was an excellent accomplishment. The vocabulary and sentence structure are perfect for the "rookie reader." The illustrations were unique to the story. MORE!!! I just may go to the shelter to find a dog of my own. HUNTSVILLE, Al.

Great Book
Kathy Schulz has written a wonderful book that is well loved and requested in our school and we are privileged to have our own author here. The children love to read the book aloud and enjoy every word of it and the wonderful illustrations that go along with it. A great book that is definitely worth the money!!!

Get Out of My Chair
Cleverly written. Can't believe she did all this with just 28 words!! Our first graders will love it!

I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD GET A COLLEGE DEGREE
I have been looking for years in the bookstores for a book that would validate my ability to do college work, even though all my tests showed I could not. My SAT's were very low and I was constantly being discouraged from learning. I wanted to learn and was able to learn in a seminar format but I never thought I could go to school. The author was told the same thing and received a Ph.D. This was very inspirational to me. After reading the stories in this book about people who were discouraged in the school system, I now know I can do it. I'm grateful to the author for writing this fine book.

A Must for people trying to decide on their life plan
I picked this book up at a local bookstore and was happy to see there was an updated guide on how important self-esteem was to the academic process and lists of choices of how to search out various possiblities for career choices. I always thought 4 years of college was imperative and it seems that 2 year technical schools may offer more opportunity in many cases. I also took the self-esteem inventory and the inventories on left/right brain, and learning style. I learned that the reason I loved learning now as an adult is I like to be part of the learning experience because of my learning style. A great inspirational and educational sourcebook.

A GOOD EDUCATIONAL GUIDEBOOK
I have always had trouble in school. Teachers would say that I was lazy. I was put into the "not so bright" groups but I always knew I was smart, although teachers did not make me feel that way. This book explains the need for self-esteem and how it affects learning. I learned from reading the book that I was a kinesthetic learner and I need to feel things. Listening to a teacher give out information was torture for me. This book made it okay for me to be me. A good guide for anyone who has either had a negative experience with school or is seeking advise about what to do after high school.

HERE GET BABY OUT JAIL

A literary gem!
Years ago at a writers' conference in South Georgia, I met Ms. Shivers. She read an excerpt from her tiny novel and I was hooked. Now I read it often, especially when I've had to be around people who butcher the english language. Shiver's beautiful prose is like a soothing salve. Ex: "There were trees along the main street, real tall elms as old and lofty as the Confederate monument on top of the mound in Elmwood Cemetery. In the summers any little stir from the branches fanned the cured tobacco smell from the warehouses and sealed it over the center of town like a jar lid." Now, who in their right mind, after reading those words, wouldn't want to catch the next bus to North Carolina just to find such a place? Shivers writes like she's sitting in a porch swing, talking. Don't have time for a long book? Pick up a copy of this little jewel. Its rich, southern voice will lure you in and you won't want it to end!

Earthy Brilliance
This obscure novel is one of the best books I've ever read (and I've read many, all genres). In a deceptively simple story of an illicit love in tobacco country, the author deals with the deepest mysteries of life, death, and redemption. I wish Louise Shivers were more prolific, and so will you after you read this slender but astonishing book.

Prose to die for!
If you read only one book this year, make sure it's Louise Shiver's lovely little book. Yes, it's out of print, but worth the effort to hunt for. There is a treasure awaiting whoever goes to the trouble. I heard Ms. Shivers read an excerpt from this book when it first came out, and the memory still brings up a sense of incredulity at the beauty of the language she used. I consider it among the top 3 favorite books I've ever read. Get it! Read it! Then read it again. . . . and again. . .!

A Aws0me bo0k.
I just want to say "Making Out" is my favroite series, and if Katherine Applegate ever stopped making "Making Out" book's, I'd die. Anyways I'd only read half of the book, but it is really good so far, Lara is gettin pissed at Kate cause she likes Jake. Zoey (ughhh) and Lucas are gettin futher apart, Claire and Aaron are tryin to get there parents to brake up. I just wanna say., that I think Claire and Laucas should get back together, they were a good couple. =]

A Book To Be Read
In found this book to be full of emotions. Lara was really having a tough time over the Jake ordeal and with Jake liking Kate this is becoming impossible. It is SOOOOOOOOOO obviousthat the relationship between Lucas and Zoey is falling to pieces. Thenthere's the decessed relationship between Nina and Benjamin.Ireally thought that Clare and Aaron were very cruel to their parents but i wouldn't want to give anything away. I really and truely thought this was a very good book like many of Katherine Applegate's book

A must read book!!!!!!!
I'm not going to give away TOO much, but I DO have some comments. I really want Aaron and Claire to get back together. Even if he is an @$$hole, their still made for each other. It's also totally obvious that she's going to confess about the letter. You can tell that Zoey and Lucas are going to break up for the millionth time. They break up and make up in every book. I'm wondering whether Aisha is going to choose Christopher or David.(I don't really care) But if she does choose Christopher, her past "experiences" with Jeff are going to haunt her. It's also totally obvious that the truth will come out about Lara's scheme. Jake and Kate are totally going to get together. Now the important topic, my favorite characters, BENJAMIN AND NINA!!!! Nina finally came to her senses and realized that there was nothing for her on Catham Island. But when everyone finds out she's gone, they'll totally freak! ESPECIALLY BENJAMIN!!!!!(Can you tell that I want theses 2 to get back together or what?) All in all, it was an awesome book! Read the whole series! I can almost guarrantee that you'll love it!
