This book was about girls spaaking out about the truth. I liked it because it was my type and that's the type of stuff i like to raed. I also like because it's like girl talk between girls and you share secrets between your closest friends. This book talks about what qualities girls look for in best friends. Like the survey in the back of the book and it's about your future.

It's about girls who tell about what is happening in their lives like about their most embarrassing moments. I think it was a really great book and if you like to read things about what's happening to other people like in your life this would be a good book for you.

I think the book's title is a bit misleading in that the handbook really doesn't tell you how to get the most out of your camera. I bought the book hoping to learn something new, but the focus is more about general concepts, such as how to buy a camera, basic shooting techniques, etc. I read the book in a day because I already knew what was in the book -- I gave this three stars because it's a good book for a beginner, but not for intermediate and above users.

An excellent book on everything you need to know about 35mm photography. Good text, plenty of example shots, excellent graphics, it's a great all-round manual. Better for beginners / intermediate. Buy it! Cheers, Cotty.

I thoroughly enjoyed Gary Guthrie's compilation of quotes. He covered the range from philosophers to movie stars to political figures past and present. They were short, thought provoking and applicable to life's varied moments (funk, relationships, change and jobs). Made for quick "thought of the day" reading.

Dr Gerald L. Fishkin brings us in this small book a good summary of the problem of modern life : we live under stressed conditions at work, in everyday life in general and in our homes and families. This stress creates anxiety, depression and eventually the burnout effect in people who can go as far as becoming completely alienated and longing for the end of their suffering, including in death. This is nothing new, but this is increased by two things : the ever-faster pace of our lifestyle and of course the simple fact that we live longer. The suffering is perfectly well described and the solutions are perfectly well explained with a strong emphasis on the fact that they have to come from within us, and if a no return point has been reached, they have to be inoculated inside us in order to reconstruct what stress may have destroyed. The most important fact in this book is that this burnout concerns everyone and first of all either those who have to deal with other people's problems like teachers, priests and doctors, or those who are constantly under the pressure of superiors or the demands of an unescapable system. But we must be very careful with this book because some of the symptoms of depression or burnout might be the symptoms of something completely different. It is useful to keep in mind that such a problem can only be dealt with with the help of a professional person. The main chracateristic of burnout is that a victim of it is unable to see it...

I couldn't believe it! Everyday I could just learn one thing to burn off the fat! it made start to feel great and look it too!

On a scale from 1 to 5 I would deffinitly give it a 4 1/2! The way she explained the characters was absolutly side spliting fall out of your chair crack your head open and die laughing! w/ its zany characters and plot it is a 100% grade A read. i truly recomened this bok for someone who needs a good laugh and a light, funny read. do yourself a favor and and read this book for yourself and nobody else. not me and not your uncle joe. for yourself. I promise you will love this book from the first to the last page! READ THIS BOOK! PERIOD..................

Don't Get an Umbrella could not be more timely. It gets right to the heart of how to handle change and disappointment and still keep your sense of humor.

The Extra! Extra! sections at the end of each chapter were very helpful in providing Biblical insight into areas of life we all struggle with but don't always talk about.

I really enjoyed the way the author used humor and real life examples to encourage and motivate me to go after doing the things I love doing.

I would recommend this book to anyone.

Charles Taber tells a remarkable story of courage, cowardice, and people thrown together by chance and desperation. Little is known of the last days of Saigon, and though this slender book is not a comprehensive history, it is an important eyewitness account.

This book is pretty good at explaining the Mass simply. For those of you who don't read much, or have a hard time reading, this book is a very good place for you to start learning more about the Mass. The author assumes that you are Catholic, so those readers who are not Catholic should look elsewhere for a book explaining the Mass.

I would highly recommend this book to young Catholics (7th to 12th grade) or to those who don't like a book that is heavy in theology.

"The main concern of this book is not so much the beauty of some prayer or the meaningfulness of a gesture or the profundity of a rubric but, rather, the significance of those prayers, gestures, and rubrics in relation to the whole Mass."

This book gets right to the point. You can tell that the author knows alot about sales. The idea of repairing my emotional state, was so incredible because it is the one thing I never did before. I have often struggled getting out of a slump and this 3 step process made it so much easier. I loved it and I stronly recommend this book as a must for any salesperson's library.
