Sixty years after Einstein, Podolsky and Rosen published the paper 'Can quantum-mechanical description of reality be considered complete?', much work continues on the non-local nature of reality. Most current day readers and philosophers are insulated from the weirdness that quantum mechanics predicts (and to date has been confirmed in numerous laboratory experiments)due to the technical nature of the subject. If you're willing to suffer the math, this is the starting point of a journey into something unbelievable (and very different from the physics you were taught in high school or college).

William Geddes is one of the few ethnographers to have worked with the Land Dayaks of Sarawak. This book is based on his research in the village of Mentu Tapuh. It is divided into two sections. The first is a basic ethnography with an emphasis on social structure. The second is the recounting of the myth of culture-hero Kipachi (for which it took his informant nine nights to tell, hence the title). This is a good book about an interesting group of people.

This is a pretty good book. It's Ricky Martin and this man tends to provide good material.

This is a story about Jodie and Mark in a train going to the country to visit there grandma's and grandpa's farm for the summer. One night she sees the scarecrows moving together. she calls her brother and he sees the scarecrows moving together. But grandma dosen't make her chocolate pancakes any more and grandpa dosen't tell his scary storys any more if you want to now how the scarecrowes come alive you have to buy the book. my favorite capter is 11 it's probobly the scarest part in the book.I reccomend this book because I like goosebumps and the book is scary .

My kids (age 5 and 7) love to read this book. The 7-year-old is starting to understand fractions, and both enjoy the story, as do I. The example of cutting oranges is one you can do at home to show that 1/2 is bigger than 1/4, and 2 fourths = 1 half.

It's a bit annoying to me that they messed up the pictures -- one of the kids, Kate, has red/blond hair at the beginning and black hair later. I'm assuming that hair dye wasn't part of the story. Still, overall, it's a very good book!

This is a fun book -- my 5- and 7-year olds love it. It does a great job of telling an engaging story while teaching about graphs and promoting math as fun. But the one of the bar charts is wrong -- I guess the editors of this series could use some math help themselves.

I think I was most delighted to learn that Ms.Cocca-Leffler dedicated this book to her sister after forgetting her birthday. I believe the story echoes the love and devotion to someone--what this book shows is that even when things do not go according to plan people still love you. It's charmingly written and full of passion and tenderness. Adorable.

It has different articles by several authors about Jerusalem and the dangers it faces.. I recommend it.

I didn't understandt some of the jokes, riddles and funny stories, but the majority was funny nonetheless. This book earns a place on your bookshelf.
