FABULOUS HISTORICAL BOOK

This is a fabulous book for the individual who loves to study Biblical doctrines. This book covers every subject you can
think of and gives the eager student historical information no longer given in the pulpit. Have questions?? You'll most
likely find them in this book. Want to know what religious contempories from other denominations said about these topics?
You'll find them in this book. Also, you will find very helpful charts and graphics at the beginning of each chapter that
gives you a very clear picture of the topic being discussed. I found that most helpful as I am a visual learner and it is
far easier for me to remember something when I've seen it in a graphic. Did you know that for a long time, Popes were married?
Some Popes were teenagers? One Pope was a woman???? If you love history.....this is the book for you...I highly recommend
it.

The future of a people who want to be both ignorant and free

This is a very good overview of the ideas that motive some citizens to work to restore our Constitution as the supreme law
of the land. Most people are ignorant of the intent of our Founders concerning the proper relationship between the people
and their central government. Thomas Jefferson once noted: "If a Nation,... expects to be ignorant and free, it expects
what never was and never will be." This notion was true two hundred years ago, it is true today! WARNING: This book contains
politically incorrect material!

Non-commissioned officers (NCO) are the backbone of any effective military force. They are the primary trainers, disciplinarians,
and are closely associated with the welfare of the troops and the execution of battle commands in the front lines. Backbone
Of The Army: Non-Commissioned Officers In The Future Army comprises the contributions of academics, officers, and non-commissioned
officers as they examine the future of the army and NCO recruits, as well as implications for education, training, doctrine,
organization, and comparative assessments from allied armies. Backbone Of The Army is a seminal work and a very welcome contribution
to military studies.

Why waste time being offended?
Helpful Votes: 6 out of 6 total.
Review Date: 2006-01-04
Review Date: 2006-01-04
I loved this book so much I purchased the curriculum. This book teaches that unforgiveness springs forth from being offended
at any number of things, but it does NOT teach that we can not be indignant of actions, words, or authorities that go against
the Word of the Lord. Neither does the book teach that we are to blindly accept those in authority over us. There's a difference
between being offended and holy indignation.
Here's where I WAS: "I am smarter than you, stronger in character than you, and farther in my Christian walk than you are. What you say bears no relevance because I have already marked those in whom I place my earthly trust, and you are not one of them." What a dangerous place to be!
Here is where I AM NOW: We all say things and do things that are not in complete obedience to God, even if our walk with Him has been long and fruitful. At the very least, we might commit small sins of pride or vanity, regarding ourselves as indignant in a holy way, but we are really self-righteously indignant. Because of the teaching in this book, I have come to recognize that I can not affect how others behave, but I can affect how I react. I can CHOOSE to take the bait or I can CHOOSE to forgive, to learn, and to move on.
I'm such a different person now - like night and day. I had no idea that my being offended at so many little things was standing in the way of achieving my full potential as a Christian. Now I do.
For those who feel condemned when reading this book. Don't. Conviction in your heart isn't condemnation, for there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. Let the Holy Spirit minister to you! Be encouraged that Jesus cares enough to get involved with your reading, your learning, and your interest in removing the still uncircumcised calluses of your heart. I was out of my comfort zone for some time before diving into the Word in conjunction with going through this curriculum yielded revelation about myself and my character that I resisted knowing. I have been delivered!
In another CD teaching, a Deacon Dr. Bob McDonald said, "The size of your ego is exactly equal to the distance between you and God." How true! Let's just say there was quite the chasm between God and I before I overcame my unwillingness to be truthful with myself and really reap the benefits of this book.
Praise the Lord for His patience and mercy!

I purchased this book in connection with a consulting project that I have been involved with, and am quite pleaseed with it.
Simply written, it provides a clear overview of bank mergers on a worldwide basis, comparing the (significant) differences between mergers in different parts of the world. A useful appendix provides brief summaries of approximately 30 mergers from around the world.
Unfortunately, the material is time-sensitive, and since the book was published in 2000, the major events that have occurred since that time are not included. For instance, the merger of NationsBank and Bank of America (1998) receives short shrift, and the subsequent merger of B of A and Fleet is not mentioned at all. An update would be welcome.
Still, the book is well written, and at 191 pages, wonderfully compact. A fine roadmap for those interested in an overview of the subject.

This is an excellent book for anyone who wants to improve/learn financial literacy. It is written from the perspective of
talking to parents about their children's economic situation - esp. those of inner city homes. Very easy to read and understand
- great book for children/teens to read too.

I liked this book so much that there is realy know certin section that I could possibley choose. I guess the reason it is, is because the book was in so much then the movie. It explained stuff that I never saw.
If you seen the movie you know that when the movie starts it begins where Marty walks in to docs house and blows up a huge speaker. In the book though it starts out with Marty already in school sitting in class. Even though there was alot of stuff added, I think my favoritr part is still where when doc. jumps from the clock tower and the lightning strikes just a Marty goes back in time.
