Having spent a lot of time looking for information on imaginative & fun (and sometimes luxury) travel with kids, I can tell
you that this is a really unique book. It is comprehensive, carefully researched and well written with loads of practical
tips. Some 'travel with kids' books might as well just be bland advertising copy, this one really provides good editorial
content, with positive and critical comments. It is a pleasure to read and we will use it for a long time. Fodor's should
publish more of these for other parts of the US/world.

I loved this book and would recommend it to any family wanting to travel in the northeastern United States. The writers offer
tips and reviews on places of interest, resorts, and campgrounds in a wide range of prices. In fact, we have visited some
of those places and found a brand new vacation prospect in Lake George which we will be trying out this summer! Definitely
one of the most informative travel books on the market today -- entertaining even if you do not go to these places.

Very useful book for locals and visitors. We liked the way it gave us recommended age groups and prices. We can now plan ahead
places to visit within and on the way to our next holiday area. We have also used it for planning field trips from the school
into San Francisco. Easy to use and enjoyable to read.

I've been searching for a book like this for several years and haven't found one that fit the bill until now! I had a great
time reading it - so well written - and got more useful information than I'll ever be able to use in one lifetime! Thanks
so much to the writers and publishers!

I am amazed by the number of different quotes, different topics, and different people that are in this book! Before reading
this book, the only philosophers I knew of were Aristotle and Socrates. This book is very impressive. This is one you should
put in your personal library.

On the Money Journal by C. Stephen Guyer is a useful and entertaining collection of articles selected from Mr. Guyer's regular
column in the Denver Business Journal. The articles deal with a broad spread of money topics, ranging from acquiring and
borrowing money to having fun with money, from the amusing - holiday spending and current currency catch phrases to the serious
- dealing with taxes and bankruptcy.
Readers ranging from average individuals to financial professionals will all find interesting, current, and helpful information. Small business owners will find good advice, as will CFOs. Home business entrepreneurs and cube dwellers will each benefit from reading this book.

I connected with the words of Joline Godfrey. Her evaluation on what women are doing in business, helps all of us see the
opportunities to do things differently. The first chapter where she talks about the right stuff struck home - women needing
connection with others, seeing people as whole individuals, wanting balance in life, seeing business as a creative outlet,
are all principles she dives into - they make sense for those seeking to more than financial goals. There are many bottom
lines in life - the women business owners the book reviews get it and are designing business with a bigger picture in mind.
Thank you Joline for shifting my thinking - I was already headed in that direction - your book help me get there a little
faster.

This book was a life changer for me. My entire paradygm shifted about my own potential to be an entrepreneur after reading
this book. It was instrumental in my decision to leave my public school teaching position and start my own business. I found
the specific stories of women's successes and struggles encouraging. I had often given up on ideas once problems started to
arise, but after reading this book, I adopted the mantra "Every problem has a solution." It has helped me through many a seemingly
crisis situation. I have reread it several times. The most valuable piece for me was the perspective that we women can do
something that we love, have fun AND make a living. My husband also enjoyed this book, so it's not just for women.

I had been thinking about getting into business using my scrapbooking skills, but I had no idea where to start. This book
was an excellent resource! It compiles all the information you need to get started in several areas of scrapbooking businesses
- opening a retail store, mail order, creating other people's pages, and more. The personal stories from women entrepreneurs
who are succeeding in the scrapbooking world were really inspirational! I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to
start a business using their scrapbooking skills.

How did those talented people who transport us into worlds different from ours, if only for one hour a week, became television
drama writers? Not only does this book covers how some writers got their start, but it tells you how to get started. It isn't
written from someone who grew up in Hollywood and happens to know people who would open doors for him. It is written from
someone like most of us who started from scratch. Again, like the other books in this career series, the price is great,
content is very good, and there's substance rather than flash.

If you are like me, someone who is exploring a new job and loves shopping, this is a pretty good choice. The mystery shopping
book is very good since it covers everything about mystery shopping like how to keep getting jobs in it, whether you should
get certified, starting your own mystery shopping business, and some companies who you can contact. The personal shopping
book goes hand-in-hand with the mystery shopping, although they are different. What I like best about the personal shopping
book is how easy it is to grasp getting started. It compares personal shopping as a business with personal shopping as a
job you can apply for. Because both books talk about how to find a job and expands into creating your own opportunities in
a shopping career by starting a business, I find them very helpful for not just beginners, but also those who need a refresher
or is enterpreneurial. Overall they gave me a feeling that I can do it!
