Rally Round the Flag, BoysReview Date: 2008-05-16
"The U.S. Army establishes a missile base at Putnan's Landing, a quiet suburban town in Connecticut. The townspeople object and the public relations officer has his hands full if he's to keep open warfare from breaking out between the citizens and the Army. Things start off badly for the lieutenant and quickly get much worse. A historic pageant he hopes will improve relations turns into a fight just as his Colonel arrives! Then his girl gives him his engagement ring back again. This is something she does rather often, but that doesn't make him like it any better. Especially since he's been threatened with being sent to Alaska if anything else does go wrong in one of the most spectacularly funny scenes ever written. For, through an amazing series of funny incidents and acidents, one of hte missiles "which can't possibly" go off, does go off! It's a wonderfully wacky comedy which will delight everyone."

Stephnie and her cabin may have lost the big water event, and lost her C.I.T. job but now she is in charge of the camp talent show! Now things are starting to become serious, the sets are torn up with green spray-paint,the speakers are gone, and more now its up to Stephanie and her friends to try and find out who is doing all this. On the day of the talent show the power goes out and there is a big thunder/lightning storm. Luke was to show up and watch Keith now Stephanie is scared even worse. Did Luke show up and has been doing all this, or was it Max,or even Keith? Cant tell you have to read that part for yourself, sorry. I hope you like my review and want to read this book I have to admit its hard for me to like a book.

A MONUMENTAL ONE-MAN ACHIEVEMENTReview Date: 2005-09-27
THIS WORK IS A MONUMENTAL EFFORT BY ONE MAN TO PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE COMMENTARY ALONG WITH GRAMMAR, SYNTAX, WORD DEFINITIONS, TRANSLATIONS WITH GRREK TEXT, TO THE ENTIRE NEW TESTAMENT.
I HAVE BARELY SCRATCHED THE SURFACE IN USING THIS RESOURCE, BUT IT PROMISES MUCH.
THE POTENTIAL BENEFIT OF THIS WORK, AND WHY I PURCHASED IT AFTER LEARNING OF IT, IS THAT IT PROVIDES SO MUCH AVAILABLE IN ONE WORK.
IT IS A TRIBUTE TO ONE MAN'S LIFE WORK!

Depicted are costumes from France, Spain, Italy, Russia, and other nations. Many different types of people are depicted: soldiers, clergymen, nuns, noblewomen, peasants, etc. The plates of military dress are particularly interesting; in addition to showing knights' armor and other clothing, the illustrations also show many different weapons. Horses in regalia are shown in addition to human figures. Also depicted are musical instruments.
The pictures include both individual figures and scenes depicting costumed figures in social interaction. Some famous people, like Elizabeth I of England, are depicted. There are some really colorful and ornate items, like elaborate ladies' headdresses. I really liked the illustrations of kilted Scotsmen. Along the way are some curious sights, such as a bizarrely dressed and masked Venetian penitent. Overall, this book is a marvelous and educational visual feast.
