The life of an extrordinary woman from her own perspective. A great read!

It has been become more and more difficult to get the Hal Leonard transcriptions from the late 80s/early 90s rock and metal genres. That is why I was happy to have been able to pick up this book. Lean Into It is a classic to me being a guitar player especially because of Gilbert's playing on it. Always good to have the tab to his solos alone. Once again Hal Leonard/Cherry Lane has put out an accurate transcription. Unlike a lot of their transcriptions this one has not only the guitar and vocal parts, but the bass and drums as well. The font is noticibly smaller than most of the Hal Leonard books that I own. Classic riffs abound in this transcription. The intro riffs to green tinted sixties mind and just take my heart I found to be tough, the tapping being all over the place on the fretboard in the former and the harmonic finger stretching in the latter. But hey, I am no Paul Gilbert. Also the notation is just a tad different than other Hal Leonard books I found but fine nonetheless. Another solid transcription by Cherry Lane, I am happy with the purchase.

Anyone interested in this Artist's work should own every one of the inexpensive Dover books. Note that this "title" is a combination of two of the books published by Dover: "Mucha's Figures Decoratives (All 40 Plates in Original Color" and "The Art Nouveau Style Book of Alphonse Mucha (All 72 Plates from "Documents Decoratifs" in Original Color)"

This was such a good read! Beautifully written and I simply couldn't put it down! I must say though, it was a bit too brief.

It can be appreciated by students at differing developmental stages: young kids as a cute story about a frog and the fireflies and also for younger kids who are quite advanced in understanding math concepts. This book encourages reading, understanding the meaning of numbers squared, and touches on the fact that a frog would normally eat fireflies instead of needing their assistance (science). It's such a simplistic, yet direct approach to square roots, that I immediately included it this summer in staff development presentation bibliographies for elementary teachers and librarians. It's a rarity to find books on square roots for young children.

This is one of my favorite's children's books. The artwork is great but the message is better. Maria wakes up one morning and finds that her hair is full of colors. Each day after that her hair is different, full of animals, books and even all kinds of people. She learns that she is all the things in her hair, not just a little girl, but a little girl that is multi-faceted and talented. I love it!

This very coloful, upbeat book appeals to the heart of every CF child and lets them know they are not alone. Joshua Grishaw is a gifted little boy.He writes about his dreams of being a superhero during the daytime while confronting the fears every CF child knows during the night. The illustrations are magical adding a lighthearted quality while dealing with a difficult subject. His family is obviously the most important thing in his life just like every other CF child's. My daughter keeps this sturdy book on its own shelf in her room. She doesn't know her Mom reads it as often as she does. It's good to know I'm not alone either.

this books is so fun to read, the puppy on the cover is so cute and it looks like she leads an excellent life with her friends and owner.

This story is about a girl puppy named Poppy (what a cute name), she has a bunch of doggy friends and one cat friend, all of Poppy's friends were adopted and taken to nice places (Poppy was taken in by a girl named Molly) But Poppy's best friend Bernie is still at the adoption center and its going to close, can Poppy and her friends find Bernie a nice home, its better then you think

Full of movie reviews, do it yourself activities, dog horoscopes and facts on dogs make this book a must read puppy tale, bye

Darcy has a crush on this so-called guy... and couldn't write or talk to him. So she asks Steph to do the work for her, which seems pretty easy. But there's the problem with Michelle, and the other one... Steph likes this guy, too! Awesome... friendship is shown in the best (or second best) way.

Great book for parents of twins. Buy one for each of the kids.
