This was purchased for my husband who never reads more than his hunting magazines. But he remembered Mr. Drakula from articles he had written. My husband read the whole book through! WOW! Anyway great for the hunter, "outdoorsy" type person or anyone interested in how life was.

possibly read this book and remain a Christian, nor a
Jew or Muslem.

Full Spectrum Consciousness is meticulously written, a
book that both scholars and students of life will
resonate with how the author pulls the rug out from
all the mainstream belief structures, yet shows you
how to land gently within a totally shifted
comsciousness. I have never heard of better work on
the reality of duality ever published.

I predict Full Spectrum Consciousness to soon become
the most influential book of our time, one that will
guide humanity towards a genuine Era of Peace.

Intended especially for corrections professionals at all levels, but just as fascinating for the lay reader to browse, The Full Spectrum covers such issues as the need for cultural diversity training among correctional officers, age, religious, and ethnic diversity, the implications of cross-cultural communication, and more. Specific essays focus on individual ethnic groups such as Latinos, Asian Americans, Native Americans, and African-American women. Professionally researched and straightforwardly presented, The Full Spectrum successfully strives to explain the critical importance of understanding and incorporating cultural differences in order to promote a stable system of justice.

The most comprehensive and informative history of a sports franchise that I have ever read. Greenberg takes the hockey fan on a 30 year ride detailing the Philadelphia Flyers hockey club from their infancy in the mid `60s through their last year in the Spectrum in 1997. Great insight to the cup years `74-75 and the Broad Street Bullies of that era. A must have for anyone who is a hockey fan.

This is an excellent practice book for several reading skills from grades 4 - 6. I especially like the short stories because a teacher can easily identify what problems a student may be having concerning main idea, inference, drawing conclusions, and definitions found with context clues. In Texas, we give the TAAS test beginning in third grade. This book has many short exercises dealing with skills found on the TAAS test and gives the teacher a way to pinpoint reading problems.

The book also includes worksheets for cause and effect, fact and opinion, and main topics. It is one of my favorite resources for practice in a reading classroom.

Sherry Meidell does wonderful illustrations and this book is another example of her fun style. Our kids love them.

Rhoda Blumberg brings in the many aspects, peoples, andcultures involved in building the transcontinental railroad, andconsiders it from many view points. A wonderful way to learn about this important part of American history.

Werner Kieser is a most successfull trainer for physical exercise concentrating on improving muscular strength to reduce or even eliminate back pain. As far as I know he is running more than 250 training centers in Central Europe with extreme success. Unfortunately there is no center existing in North America. His book illustrates the principle behind training as well as the exercises. I have particpated in the described training for the last three years and I became pain free after only six weeks of training. The reason I bought this book is that I have a relative in Canada who suffers from back pain. I read the book, found it easy to understand, very informative and perhaps the principles are applyable outside the specialized Kieser Traing Centers.

Spiritual, Inspirational, definitely something for everyone. It says what it does, and does what it says. A perfect gift for friends and loved ones.

Jill Brandon left the WPGA tour to devote her time to help her Army Ranger husband, Tyler, heal and learn to cope from his injuries. It's been a year and Jill has come to the conclusion that maybe she can't be the one to help him. The only place they seem to communicate is in bed. When her last ditch effort seems to backfire, Jill and Tyler separate and Jill decides to maybe join the tour again. When Jill's house is broken into and she immediately calls Tyler, will this be the catalyst that will show them both that their marriage can get back into full swing again? Or has too much pain and hurt pride been exposed to go forward?

Full Swing discusses some of the side effects that married military couples have to go through. Tyler has been hurt to the point of almost dying and his recovery has been slow, painful and left him bitter about his future. Jill left her successful career with the WPGA to help, but discovered that Tyler will have to work through this himself. When an act of violence brings them back together, Tyler is determined to not only get Jill back, but to make their marriage better than ever. Having a lot of experience with military life, I could feel for both Jill and Tyler and understand the hurtles that they had to get passed somehow. I cheered for them when they passed the last one. Full Swing is kind of bittersweet in the beginning and middle, but it is hot when Jill and Tyler come together. Tyler and Jill both discovered that sometimes you have to lose what you love to discover just how much it means to you. Ms. Jordan has delivered a story that is very much in the current times and I believe all readers will find something to connect with.
