Expert economists Jared Bernstein and Dean Baker present The Benefits of Full Employment: When Markets Work for People, a thoughtful look at the prosperity that came with the 1990s employment boom. That era revealed that full employment and stable prices could successfully coexist; incomes rose while poverty, welfare rolls, and crime rates fell. Though the full employment of the 1990s ended when the business cycle subsided, The Benefits of Full Employment persuasively argues that the advantages of full employment make it a condition worth striving to attain permanently through national policy. First published in 2003, The Benefits of Full Employment remains as insightful and well-reasoned today as it was four years ago.

While voice and intonation are critical, there's something about getting to READ these speeches that gave them an entirely fresh layer of meaning for me.

Because I was reading and not just listening I picked up nuances I missed just watching. Well worth a lifetime of memories for under $2.

I purchased these audiobooks within a week of purchasing "Farewell my Lovely". The Big Sleep" and "The High Window" are my favorites. I love the plot, the wit (beautifully excecuted by Ed Bishop) The stories are really interesting and fun. It is unique to rely on your audiotory sense in a world usually focusing on the visual. These are a must to own for the Raymond Chandler, Philip Marlowe or Mystery theme fan. Personally my primary reason was for my favorite actor Ed Bishop being the star!! His voice and the delivery of each line with pinpoint precision is music to the ears :0)

This movie The Black Hole is awsome so is this read along book of the same name if you think you're kids might get freaked out by action/adventure films maybe this is a better option for them to read the story first . This is a great story with original voice/music and effects, i just love this title when i was a kid and still do ever though i'm older.

Highly Recommended For Kids( Ages 8 & Up)

P.S. I hope they do an Book/CD thing of this one.

A very balanced, authoritative and insightful analysis of a cricketing controversy that refuses to die. Each chapter is carefully researched and detailed, yet the book reads like an enthralling novel. At no point did I skip pages or become bored. Not only is this the story of the matches but also of the personalities, above all, Jardine, Larwood and Bradman. This is an excellent book, the best cricket book I've read to date on any subject about the sport.

Leyland P76's Are Pretty Good Cars To Have In The Desert!!!

In this book the reader is introduced to a Road Trip made by the author in the London-Sahara-Munich World Cup Rally.Driving a modified Leyland P76 Mr. Green takes the reader on a wonderful epic journey through deserts, rain and fog.The title of this book refers to the many people Mr. Green encountered who remarked 'I woud give my right arm to go on this trip with you". The reader learns of the complexities of modifying a car in order to make this trip successfull . I found this very interesting. Sadly the author passed away a few years ago but he did leave behind some wonderful books.

A Bottle Full of Tears (Signed)
Wow, what a story!! This poor man, he really went through some dark times and back. I feel for him and his beautiful wife and the kids too. GOD BLESS THEM. This just goes to show that a person can be wrongly accused of something and have to live with it forever. Brother Mike you are a wonderful man and I am so lucky to have you as my pastor and friend. I am so happy to be part of your congregation and church family.

The Everyday and the Extraordinary

Fine economy of language, an ample dose of clever, yet more than that, these poems offer the reader a distinctive vision of both the everyday and the extraordinary. Some laughter and some insights in the same volume.
