The Lost Tribes of Israel, written by the founder of the Pentecostal Movement in England (circa 1908) can definitely be termed
an eye-opening book. The author, Richard Reader Harris, presents a series of addresses to his Pentecostal brethren proving
they were direct descendants of the ten lost tribes of Israel! "The discovery and the acknowledgement of the lost tribes would
revolutionize the whole world, give an impetus to Scriptural study, and encourage men in a wonderful degree to believe the
promises of God."
"If this be true (our Anglo-Israel heritage), it adds tremendously to our responsibilities, and opens before us in a way that no human tongue can describe; spiritual possibilities, temporal possibilities, national possibilities, and universal possibilities."
About the Author...
Richard Reader Harris (1847-1909) held the prominent and respected position of British barrister and King's Counselor. This was a lifetime appointment that recognized his success and skill in the legal profession.
Although an atheist in his early life, he became convinced of the truth of the Bible after hearing the Anglo-Israel message. This life-changing experience caused Reader Harris to leave his successful legal career to become a Methodist minister, valued Christian leader, and author of over 34 books. In 1891, he founded the Pentecostal League of Prayer, an interdenominational group, which, within a few short years grew into the immense Pentecostal movement in Britain.
The remainder of his life was spent ministering to the British royalty as well as to the poor in the slums of London. Oswald Chambers, a revered evangelist, missionary, author and close friend of Harris considered him to be one of the "Lord's choicest saints."
Excellent historical book on the thoughts of the founders of the pentecostal movement in England.

Dover Publications is due a hearty commendation on their reprinting of these fun scores. I hope that Dover continues to print
as many scores as they possibly can, and innumerably enrich the libraries of music buffs (don't forget to keep the low price.)
The next thing for Dover to do is to reprint the Schubert operas - esp. the unjustly neglected 'Fierrabras'
At last Dover is reprinting more obscure repertoire!

It's a pity Schubert completed no operas---these liturgies give a glimpse of what magic he could have done. The Credos, and
the Et Incarnatus Est of the 6th mass are up there with the Trout and the Great C Major. Too bad the Mass in G was omitted;
this is a simpler work but also beautiful.

This is a wonderful series. The acting, scripts, and sound effects are excellent. It also has alot of emotion and heart which
many of the other detective radio shows I've listened to lack. It's unique. It is plenty suspenseful too. The relationship
between the main character Walker and Christa the dispatcher just adds another dimension to the show. Very Well Done.

This release from Durkin Hayes contains episodes from one of the best series ever presented on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
radio service Mystery Project series. It involves the adventures and misadventures of Walker Devereaux, a 19 year old from
small town Ontario who moves to Toronto to exercise his writng muse and can only get a job as a cabdriver on the midnight
shift. He keeps getting involved in crimes or other messy human relationships over 24 episodes. The dialogue is uncontrived,
the subplot of a shy, slow, romance with his sexy dispatcher is quite touching and the mysteries occur naturally enough so
that you never question just how much crime this young man encounters. Great casting, great production values and great
writing. I've been trying to track all the episodes down and this release assembles some of the best. It'll hook ya!

Any lover of this Gilbert & Sullivan masterpiece will gain a fuller appreciation of it by being able to follow the lyrics
and dialog while listening to the operetta. The score also has a nicely written preface and synopsis of the story. Although
knowing how to read music is not essential to the enjoyment of this Mikado full score, buyers that do read music will gain
an even greater appreciation of it by being able to follow each instrumental line along with the lyrics of the songs. The
Dover score is beautifully printed at a very bargain price to boot. Everyone can derive a great deal of pleasure from this
score, no matter what level of musical training they possess. Highly Recommended! (P.S. I understand that the full score of

This book, written by one of Osho's closest disciples, Ma Prem Shunyo, has been written in the true bhakti tradition. It is
a loving and reverential account of Ma Prem Shunyo's time spent with Osho.
This is one of the best books about a master-disciple relationship written in recent times. A book on similar lines is Justin O Brien's "Walking with a Himalayan Master" on the life of Swami Rama

A living legend in automotive journalism and racing, Paul Frère weaves his fascinating life story through the cars he has
owned, tested and raced. This autobiography is jam-packed with historical and technical information that Frère lived through
and experienced personally. Starting with the family car in the 1920s, Formula-One racing in the 50s, winning LeMans in 1960,
with Olivier Gendebien, to writing about, helping develop, and driving cars for the 21st Century, Monsieur Frère, at the age
of 84, still routinely test drives today's automobiles and racecars at over 150 mph!
An intimate, unique viewpoint on the history of the automobile, as fun as a fast drive down the German Autobahn- with no speed limit!

The guide is beautifully done, with clear pictures and fantastic organization. There is clearly a lot of research and work
that has gone into this labor of love, and it shows. This book is just brimming with valuable information.
It's a great resource to have on hand. For those of us with extensive collections, it really makes all the difference when trying to organize and inventory ponies and accessories.
As someone who owns both of Summer's books, I highly suggest getting one of your own--it's a great investment!

My 5 year old son and I found this to be a very enjoyable book. I appreciate this book because it is so informative, yet
reads more like a story than a textbook. The story begins in the Spring as the robin builds her nest and lays her eggs.
It continues as the eggs hatch, and the birds grow up. The story closes as the birds leave in late September and explains
that they will return the next Spring. I feel this "Full Circle" approach is very helpful to young learners. All throughout
the book this story uses new words for children to learn and very naturally weaves the definitions into the story. The
illustrations are a tremendous asset as they help to reinforce the new words. There are several processes shown step by
step such as the development within an egg and the building of a nest. They are clearly and delightfully explained and also
very well illustrated. I sometimes come across a children's book that captures my attention, yet fails to interest my son.
What value does such a book have it it fails to reach the audience it was written for? I find this is not the problem with
"A Nest Full of Eggs" as it is entertaining for both adults and children, while having the substance adults would like to
teach to children. It is written for children yet does not talk down to them. This book is a part of a larger series called,"Let's
read and Find out Science". I have also enjoyed reading others in the series and would highly recommend investigating this
series.

If you read this book over and over again you will always find a new aspect to contemplate every time you read a new page
. However, this depends on the cycle of your life and your perception. Osho was a gift sent to the women on earth to start
a war against sleep ......!
The only drawback of this book is it is written by a man!

No woman alive can do without reading this book. The only question is whether she is weathered enough to take it in. He explains
that women are concerned with beauty because this is the only way they could get power. He talks about how men love their
women because a woman's body is beautiful. They are afraid of the great power of women and historically have consistently
kept women down and removed their power. In India, he says there is no punishment for murdering your wife, because she is
considered property.
As a home birth midwife, I am in touch with women's power. Only in a home birth is a woman allowed to experience her own power. In the hospital, the medical establishment has with the corroboration of women, added so many dangerous interventions in an effort just to remove women's power. All research clearly shows that planned home birth with a licensed midwife for healthy women (85 to 90% of women) is 2 or 3 times safer than hospital births. His theories make sense to me. Only with education can a woman get past this attempt and success by ALL WORLD RELIGIONS to tame womens power. This is simply a must read by all women and hopefully a few men.

If this inspiring book were read and understood by Reader Harris' Pentecostal brethren, and indeed by all Christians everywhere, I believe there would arise a renewed dedication to study the Word of God as never before, and the inspiration and truth of the Scriptures and the faithfulness and Sovereignty of God would be confirmed. This author was so convinced that an understanding of the literal fulfillment of God's promises to Israel was the key to unlocking the mysteries, prophecies and parables of the Old and New Testaments that he spent the rest of his life proclaiming this truth. He believed that in God's time and through the Holy Spirit's power this amazing message would awaken Christians everywhere to their responsibilities in carrying out the purposes of God in the world. Illuminating!
