The pictures are nice and glossy with excellent descriptions of each item. SO many pages from the past few years of all the pony toys and playsets and she provides checklists next to each item! I was personally excited about getting this book and was lucky to get to meet Summer in person and have her sign it for me. :) I highly recommend this book. I will definitely be using it for years to come. Thanks so much Summer for a fantastic product!

The guide is beautifully done, with clear pictures and fantastic organization. There is clearly a lot of research and work that has gone into this labor of love, and it shows. This book is just brimming with valuable information.

It's a great resource to have on hand. For those of us with extensive collections, it really makes all the difference when trying to organize and inventory ponies and accessories.

As someone who owns both of Summer's books, I highly suggest getting one of your own--it's a great investment!

This inventory is a toy collector (or kid's dream) come true! Each page is full of high quality, colored pictures with the name and description of the ponies IN YEAR ORDER of when they came out. A picture of the new in box ponies of EACH one is also featured at the bottom of the page!

This guide also feautres EVERY pony and My Little Pony piece from 2003-2007 when the book was published- If your little girl (or boy) loves the ponies, you would be at a loss to not purchase this book for them.

Can't afford to buy or purchase every pony out there? Well this would make a great addition to the pony collection and doesn't take up as much space and money as owning all the ponies!

FANTASTIC Resource for G3 Collectors!

This book is DEFINITELY worth it if you collect the current release My Little Ponies. Everything is very organized, with pictures of the different ponies both in their original packaging and removed from the box. Some even have detailed Cutie Mark pictures. There are notes about special European released items and the peculiar Mexican and Brazilian ponies, as well as those available for general distribution worldwide.

The only error I caught was a picture mix-up involving Fancy Hair ponies Royal Beauty and Rainbow Treat on page 112. Other than that, everything was perfect!

It is a fabulous paper resource to organize and catalogue one's collection.

This could also make a very good gift for children who like the My Little Pony toys, due to the pictures and interesting information, but beware--they could fall in love with one of the RARE ponies like Rosey Posey! ;) Of course, perhaps that would create a budding collector!

I can't wait to see a second or third edition as the My Little Pony line continues! Heaps of thanks to Summer Hayes for taking the time to get this guide together!

I just finished reading The Bridge. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I was surprised to find myself liking the characters so much in such a short time. I especially loved how the author described Eden getting her visions and sculpting them. It really sparked the creative juices in me and made me wish I was an artist! It was more than just romance or entertainment for a few hours. I loved the message. I appreciate the author's gift to communicate to the heart on many levels. I learned this in her Northern Light Series also. They're all excellent.

Lisa's descriptions of Montana were awesome. I can certainly see why it holds such a dear place in her heart. I loved the fly fishing parts, especially teaching Nick. It endeared me to Eden even more and exposed her nurturing side. I could imagine Eden in her prayer spot or sitting on the dock with her feet in the water. It really made me want to spend my summers there!

I was also delighted to find Lisa's web site and get to know her better. Lisa is in my top 10 of about 30 favorite authors. I'm looking forward to reading her anointed and inspired writing for many years to come. I'm eager to read Christmas Every Morning.

Comedy, Romance, Drama - Lisa writes so well - I felt like I was right alongside the characters living out the trials, hopes, dreams and fears right alongside them. The first book is about Rachel - a city girl visiting her Country friend Beth. She finds love in the sticks but it is interupted by a man who think Rachel is right for him and kidnaps her, can Dirk save her and keep her? You'll have to read it.... The second book is about Emily and the fears and tragedies of her past and how they make it so hard for her to love in the future. The book also includes Rachel and the characters from the first book.

I'm getting older, so I need to use glasses when reading music now. This score isn't the same as having the score in sheet music on your stand, where the typeface is larger. So using it to play would be difficult, in my opinion. You'd want the sheet music if you were performing it. However, as other reviewers so well noted, this score is excellent for those who know how to read music but haven't performed this piece (unfortunately, including me too). It's amazing when listening to Mahler's 8th how much is going on that you don't hear in a recording. Even if you've had the priveledge of hearing it performed live (a rarity since it requires massive orchestral and choral forces, not to mention other instruments, and that cost $$$), you still cannot take in every musical nuance that is going on. Having the score in front of you while listening brings this out. For me, I can't even imagine how Mahler conceived and wrote this piece; it is so complex and moving. And to know that he received such incredible praise at its debut, the orchestra applauding and the children's choir singing his name at fff as he passed them, when he didn't have much praise as a composer warms the heart. I would have given anything to have been in the audience at the debut performance, with artist luminaries, dignataries and royalty present. I guess it was destined that he died within a year of writing it.

As some reviewers said earlier, this score is indespensible for starving college students and musicians.

Mahler 8 full score and libretto
Helpful Votes: 1 out of 1 total.
Review Date: 2007-06-11
This is the complete unabridged score for full orchestra, choirs and soloists. Presented in 256 pages with accompanying text and translation, glossary, and instruments and voices, this would be the conductor's copy.

The opening organ chord fills the air with such tremendous expectancy that one senses that this is a piece of music quite unlike any other. As the music unfolds and the choir make their entrance into the foray, I am suddenly conscious in a way I have never noticed before, as if I'm about to embark on a journey into unknown and unfamiliar regions of my mind. The first movement appears to describe death of the glorious kind, and for those twenty six minutes I am transported to a world that would embrace the very nature of Heavenly arrival.

Following the score while listening to the actual sound, and one is liable to get lost in the technicalities, especially since the choirs are not always singing the same thing at the same time. Sometimes they sing words and phrases that are unexpected. Best to forget the manuscript and just listen to the music. It is, after all, what Mahler would have wanted.

Mahler's Immense Symphony of a Thousand

As a music student, this score was a great score to own: the large print make it very easy to read the numerous lines of instrumentation; the low cost is a must for a starving college student.

This is an EXTREMELY difficult work to study, even if there is a recording. The work is so immense and at the same time complex. Just looking at the first page is tiring.

I reccommend this score highly for music students and music lovers alike so that they may enjoy Mahler's monumental Symphony of a Thousand.

The biggest and most powerful symphony ever written

This symphony is so big, that if one has any chance to read the score while listening to it, do it! The score has revealed so many details about this great work that my opinion about it has changed totally! At first when I heard this, all I could hear was the song, and it didn't tell me anything, but now with the score in hand, I can see the different melodies used with the cross-references all over, and I can follow the progress of the sonata form in the first movement, which is so ingeniously developed that one can barely trace it, but it still follows a very logical consistency. All this I could only see when I read the score! Now this is one of my very favourite works of music!

The Greatest of all symphonies

I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. Mahler's 8th is the best symphony ever written. This score while in small type, shows you how Mahler put it all together and does it very clearly. The text translations are given but not much else. There isn't any sort of analysis or in depth commentary, just the music. This is an excellent deal for such an amazing piece. Great for theory students and college musicians wanting to learn a thing or two about composition.

I have been a Christian for years. I have heard many partial explanations of the prosperity message that left me with more questions than answers. Dr. Dollar gives a lucid and insightful presentation of the teachings of scripture about prosperity as well as defining what prosperity really is.

For years the church has taught that God wants us to be poor and needy. Dr. Dollar shows that this is not what the Bible teaches nor is it true through his experience with God. I would recommend this book for any who truly want to explore the Bible and what it has to say about God and how He wants to relate with us.

God's Will is Prosperity

This is another life-changing book from Dr. Creflo. This wonderful book taught me what Total Life Prosperity is and that prosperity IS the will of God. I learned that to say prosperity is just money is not incorrect -- it's just an incomplete definition. Total life prosperity means prospering in your body, your relationships, your mind, your emotions, and, yes, your finances.

The "prosperity message" is under attack within the Church. After reading this book, I can't imagine why any Christian would reject the fact that God's will is prosperity. I now have a better understanding of Jesus' saying, "I am come that you may have life and have it more abundantly" thanks to this book. The Bible talks about money more than it does heaven. It talks about God's desire for His people to fare well in life often. As a Christian, it never set right with me that the same God Who saved me and delivered me would leave me sick, broke, and in family relationships that were disunified. I am so glad I read this book, for it showed me what has been missing in my life and how God wants me to have the best.

If the Bible is the final authority in your life and you have been wondering whether God's will is prosperity, buy this book. As always, the thing I like most about Dr. Dollar is that he doesn't preach or write his opinion. Everything he says is back up by Scriptures (plural).

A great way to get to know Him the right way!

I truly enjoyed Creflo Dollar's book about prosperity. In particular, I like how he stresses that thinking about prosperity only in terms of financial gain is incomplete; one must also think about prosperity in terms of health, relationships and other areas of our life.
While, I have trouble listening to Creflo Dollar on TV, the writing style in his book is clear, easy to understand, and directly applicable to our everyday lives.

The authors of this book are both very insightful and do not just give generic answers to the many subjects in this book. It is also very interesting, and helpful, to get advice from both a man and a woman. I have purchased this book for many of my friends because there is something for everyone in it. Along with using prayer, which is a very powerful thing in itself, they also give practical advice like simply saying no to things, dropping things from your schedule (and how to do it without guilt), etc. I would recommend this book to pretty much any woman.

Practical Advice For The Real World

So much of the advice given in this book is stuff I've heard or learned on my own over the years. You'd think that would make this a 1 star book but nothing could be further from the truth. The way the authors write and share information is very uplifting and motivational. They remind us of what we already know but simply ignore and they give us "the okay" to slow down and really get real with ourselves. I, for one, really needed this book. I've been on overload for awhile and though I knew it was time to slow down, I just coudn't get myself to do it. I'd slow down in one area only to pick up something in another area. I've read this book twice, in two weeks, and I have already begun to implement much of the advice. My hope is that by answering all the questions in the book, and being real honest, I'll be able to stick to the changes and live a much happier and less stressed life. I'd recommend this book to home business owners everywhere--we women put far too much on our own shoulders and it's time to lighten the load.

Dr. Steve Stephens and I have had a tremendous response to this book. At one of the seminars where we spoke, one lady came up with dozens of red, yellow, and green tabs poking out from the pages. She explained, "The red tabs mean I need to take action on these ideas right away. The yellows will be next and the green I can get to more leisurely." Thelma Wells, National Speaker for Women of Faith, writes, "Years of research, counseling, and success are jam-packed in this practical, powerful book." Bestselling author Liz Curtis Higgs wrote, "Just reading it gave me a sense of peace and the gentle assurance that I CAN make some positive, healthy changes in my too-busy lifestyle." Elisa Morgan, President of MOPS International writes, "Ahh...at last--a pathway out of the insanity!"
If you are interested in working through the book with a friend or in a group, there is guide in the back of the book. There are fun ideas to try at the end of each chapter. Because we know women are busy (why else would they be feeling worn out?), we've kept the chapters short and practical.

There's three kinds of clutter in your life...schedule clutter, space clutter, and soul clutter. The book covers them all. (There's even a chapter on how to get a better night's sleep). Dr. Steve and I have found, a woman cannot unclutter her life until she unclutters her heart. Please visit our webpage at www.thewornoutwoman.com. God's blessings!

Women of all ages need this book!

My church recently hosted a bible study with Alice Gray (co-author of this book) as the speaker. The ideas she shared from her book were so practical and necessary for every worn out woman out there in the world! It was as if she was speaking directly to me when she described what a worn out woman is and how I got this way. After hearing her speak I just knew that this book was something special and I bought a copy. This book is truly inspiring and a must read if you want to break free of being overwhelmed, stressed, tired and just plain worn out.

I don't have children of my own, so I read this book to my niece and nephew. They found the book to be an enchanting tale full of excitement and charm.

I think the thing I liked the most about this delightful book, is how interactive and engaging it is. Not only are you telling an excellent story to your child [or a child], they are learning some basics of Wiccan ritual and getting to play a fun and enjoyable "Where's Waldo" with Seamus the Squirrel game throughout the entire book. Which my niece and nephew more than thoroughly enjoyed.

This fictional tale brings the Craft down to a child's level and helps them much better understand its ritual basics, but it does this in a subtle way. It doesn't try to teach them big, strange words like widdershins. It's very enjoyable and would be a valued asset to every Pagan parents library.

In the back of the book is also a very useful glossary of Craft terms used throughout the book (and a handy link for teachers guides for more learning) and the key to the acorn game spread all through the book and its gorgeous illustrations. I cannot wait to read more from W. Lyon Martin!

Well folks, W. Lyon Martin has done it again. Her latest offering for Pagan children is "Aidan's First Full Moon Circle" and a beautiful, sweet offering it is! Full of rich colors, friendly faces, and an adorable story about a little boy's empowerment through his first group ritual, this is another installment in a much-needed genre of books for children. If you enjoyed "An Ordinary Girl, A Magical Child", you will love this book. And if you haven't read either, then get them both for the young girls and boys in your life. They will thank you for them!

The illustrations are lovely, and the glossary in the back most helpful!

A relative I shared the book with (president of her church's youth group) likened the circle to a first communion, and felt it underlined the importance of participating in one's religion instead of just being an observer.

And Seamus the squirrel could have his own book!

The Best Written Cookbook with Recipes for a Lifetime

Mr. Johnson has gone well beyond a simple compilation of various American dishes (such as published by most churches); this is a masterful selection of America's best. It is wonderfully regional, historical (want to make a recipe from Thomas Jefferson? You'll find several in here), and varied. This book is for people who love to cook, who like homemade food, who remember great meals made by Mothers, some Fathers (such as my own), and Grandmothers; you will find those meals within the pages of this book. It is unpretentious and uncomplicated, full of charm and comfortable like part of the family. It contains a multitude of indispensable recipes. In addition it is the best written cookbook I have ever read. Every recipe is accompanied by a description that gives the reader an excellent idea about what to expect; it is a joy to read. I don't understand how it can be out of print (hint - don't wait to pick up a copy - it will soon be too late). I also don't understand how some reviewers gave it only four stars; this is the nearest thing to a perfect cookbook you'll ever find.

A classic of sophisticated but unpretentious Am. cooking.

I have about 50 cookbooks--maybe more--and this is one of the very best, one I use regularly. These recipes work--procedures are not complex, ingredients are not esoteric, but the combinations are fresh and interesting, and Johnson has a nice feel for "Americanness." He has clearly spent time with these recipes, creating ones that really work well. Let's hope the publisher keeps it in print

This presentation is simply wonderful.

From a library of 200 cook books, this is the book I normally check first when I get an inkle. Ronald Johnson is a God Damned Joy.

Excellent regional American cooking - not academic.

Most historical or regional surveys of American cooking suffer from a rather academic approach. This book presents a personal selection of recipes which still manages to be representative and historical. Most recipes are both simple and excellent. The author writes clearly, personally, and beautifully. Publisher, please reprint.

No finer cookbook exists. If I had my way this book would be in every American kitchen. I have given many copies as gifts. The recipes will make your family happy on any day or please your guests at a dinner party. Familiar ingredients taste entirely new and the recipes are easy to follow. The author becomes a friend as his notes reveal the historical and regional sources of the recipes and suggest why you will enjoy them. Unadulterated by the commercial foodie-industrial complex, this is real food that reveals the real genius of America's best cooks.

I loved this book. This book and the Two on the Town book are the two best Full House: Sisters books ever. Michelle took a secret job at the mall to help pay for Stephanie's birthday present. Stephanie sees that they're have a "Most Fabolus Sisters" contest. The age limit is 18 or younger, which means DJ and Stephanie can't be in it together because DJ is 19 year old. So, Stephanie ask Michelle. My favorite parts are when Michelle trys to ask her boss Ms. Cruz that she'll be a little late, but Ms. Cruz puts Michelle to work for two hours, which means she'll miss the photo shoot with Stephanie. On Wednesday, she's almost so late for the modeling class that Stephanie talks her friend Allie into pretending to be Michelle. If you want to find out if they win, READ THIS BOOK. If you liked Two on the Town, you'll love this book.

its awesome!

This book rules! In fact, this series rules! It's about two girls named Stephanie and Michelle, who enter a modeling contest. Michelle is also in a job in a taco place (so she can buy a bracelet Stephanie wants for her birthday)so, she has to rush from her job ( which is also in the mall) to all the practice photo shoots, the actual photo shoot, ect. and Michelle is driving her sister crazy by always being late! Then by being for the real photo shoot the shoot turns into a total disaster! And the winner is...
