If you want to buy the book, go ahead, just be careful of superbookdeals, they take your money but don't deliver and don't answer emails. Caveat Emptor.

Very Poor

A very poor book, a waste of money..

Maybe a newbie can find some usefull information inside, but nothing new or awesome interesting.

The same things are (and better explained) in other titles not so expensives.

Gann part maybe may be will came in "Fibonacci and Gann Applications in Financial Markets Part 2", because in this books just are some graphics examples and a few explanations (the CD has the same graphics).

Is like the author wants to show you a collection of nice graphics and good examples.

The Gann chapter jumps into the charts with applied thechniques without one explanation about its tecniques.

Better to you, keep searching for another one...

Very poor content

I would be ashamed of this sort of books. The charts quality is poor, the chart are not prepared for the book at all, no text labels on important levels, dates are not visible, not clear how the line are drawn (from where to where) etc..
As for text content it is equally shameful. 3 chapters are devoted to moaning how good it was in the olden days when everybody drew chart on a paper, when prices where not decimal, when people stored historical quotes for decades and so on. It warns the reader not to use fibonacci and gann techinques very often (???). But there is no manual on where and when does anybody have to use it.
The book doesn't outlay any technique or theory at all. No definitions, no explanations, no rules. Just going throught some examples with very lousy explanations and which are useless without proper charts. I cannot imagine anybody benefiting from this book at all. So, even 1 start would be somewhat excessive.

This handy book contains a 1-page introduction and 3-page pronunciation guide, each in english and in french. What follows are a 200 page french to english portion, and a 260 page english to french dictionary. I was attracted by the price but was quickly convinced that I had erred in not purchasing one of the larger, more expensive offerings. I am attempting a rough translation of a french novel and was disappointed so many words were nowhere to be found in this book. Further, only the infinitive and some gerundic forms of french verbs are listed; when I try to find, for example, a third person singular form, I come up empty, even though the infinitive is listed. I have, since, ordered a larger, more comprehensive dictionary and will report on it after I have a chance to use it. Carl F. Ricciardelli

I was looking for a dictionary that listed new words, such as relate to the Internet and modern business (eg "outsourcing"). This dictionary is not it! It is very simplistic and is probably useful as a quick guide, although if your level of French is not advanced you won't be able to use it very well, as there are no examples of usage. The blurb is misleading, as this is not a dictionary that is specifically devised for "a global economy and fast-changing world". Nor does it specifically relate to the 21st century.

This is an awful book. Each currency pair gets a chapter in the book. Some general background and some charts are provided for each pair. That's the whole story. I cannot understand how such a poor manuscript can be published under the name of a reputable publisher. This book isn't even worth $5. Zero stars!

Addition: I didn't try to copy the earlier reviewer when I wrote this!

Totally worthless!

Just a bunch a historical forex charts on the major currencies. The authors add a ridiculous data called "activity" that simply shows that the forex market is very active during the european and the american sessions (wow, what a revelation, like we did not notice already!) and voila! you have a totally worthless "book" selling for almost 90 bucks. Save your money and run fast, even if this "book" was simply given away for free, it would still be expensive!!! It's a pity, amazon does not have a MINUS 5 star rating.

I picked this dictionary up while browsing for a quick, easy, light reference. I'm an intermediate/advanced speaker of Italian and I found this book useless. It has no examples or expanations - just one work to one work translations, which can cause a great deal of confussion. It also is missing many current words in both English and Italian. Definately NOT a dictionary for the 21st century.

Doesn't even cover the basics

If you are attracted by the name "How the foreign exchange market works" and want to know how, this is not the book to read. The text hard to understand and it does not give a clear explanation of the foreign exchange market. Take my word because you don't want to waste your time and your money. DO YOU?

Because there are so many established quality travel guides that serve as models I was disappointed when I received and read through this guide. As the most current guide available I expected it to be top-rate. It's utterly worthless. The maps are illegible and the information is presented and written poorly. One's curiosity would be better piqued by reading instructions on how to assemble an IKEA bookcase.

I usually don't write reviews but I read this book and I thought that I desperately needed to warn future readers away. This story was supposed to be one about a strong, dominant type of man who takes a woman who he feels is a security danger into custody forcing her to be his fake mistress. I bought this book on a lark, figuring it would be short, cute, slightly predictable, but all in all okay. However, I was hugely disappointed. Not only was this man, who was supposed to be the epitome of masculinity, angry and unable to control himself, but he and his female counterpart spoke in far too much exclamation points. No one should be that excited...ever. Anyway, the story was supposed to be love at first sight, catching a glance across a room sort of thing, but it just immediately was "oh, I love him! He is my soul mate!" It was completely unbelieveable and at times hard to tolerate. The ending was not much better, all of it wrapping up in far too pat of a manner. I would never suggest this book to anyone, especially to someone in even a slightly bad mood looking to be cheered up, because this might just make you want to jump.

Outrage and shame.(America accomplishings Israel's war crimes)(Editorial): An article from: The Progressive

Outrageous and shameful
Helpful Votes: 1 out of 3 total.

Matthew Rothschild has something to say about Israel's attempts to defend itself against Arab aggression in 2006.

He says that he feels outrage and shame.

Well, I feel outrage and shame too.

I am outraged that people who could do something positive choose to participate in gratuitous attacks against their neighbors, in this case against Israel. And I feel shame that some of my fellow human beings could be proud of doing that. I also am outraged that people would side with the felons who perpetrate such violence.

I am in favor of truth, justice, peace, and human rights for everyone. All of these are threatened if we praise aggression.

I'm willing to discuss questions about the best way to fight back against aggression. But this article leaves me with nothing to discuss: there is no hint of the author allowing Israel to defend itself at all. He fails to indicate that the aggression against Israel so much as exists.
