Wonderful book
This is a beautiful book to keep and to give. The drawings are very interesting and beautiful, some of them are very basic sketches, some are complex artistic works, but all of them have one thing in common: they were drawn with lots of love. And that shows. Thank you for this book Ms Leacock!

A great person and a great book
This book is absolutely great. Kids of all ages enjoy looking at the flowers that were drawn by the many famous stars that appear in it. I personally know Victoria and the work that she put into the book. There are stories in it that will make you cry, like the Alison Gertz story. It is very heartwarming. Thirty percent of the profits go to the Aid foundation known as Love heals which is absolutely great.

A beautiful book to keep forever.
A very beautifully well put together book. Not only are the drawings interesting, the text that goes along with them as Ms. Leacock remembers the acquiring of the flowers will make you laugh and cry. The wide range of celebrities drawings of flowers is quite amazing (authors, directors, actors, etc.). That Ms. Leacock would share these very personal rememberances make it quite touching. Makes a wonderful gift for anyone and you will want to display it on your coffee table forever. The fact that a large percentage of the proceeds is going to AIDS charities is even more special.

The Ortho Home Gardener's Problem Solver
I am currently taking a college class in Plant Pest Management and this is the textbook for the class. I think it is a good book, but one thing I didn't like about it that the description of the pest is broken up by the plant instead of the pest. I think it makes finding the problem a little difficult, and it does leave out some we are studying in class. One thing I noticed is that the solutions are all Ortho products, but I guess they would think they have the best solutions..... Any way the Professional edition is more complete, but much more expensive and this should help most gardeners.

Using this book will make you throw away all the rest!
The Ortho Home Gardener's Problem Solver, in this condensed version, is a modern Horticulturalist's Bible" for anyone who tends to fret over plants that grow between two property lines, whether be it grass or daisey's. The unabridged version is a little pricier than this one, coming in at $100, give or take a few bucks, but both answer most of anyone's gardening problems.

an excellent book for beginners
All About Growing Orchids provides a wealth of information for the beginner orchid grower and dispels the myth that orchids are difficult to grow. Attractively laid out (and priced), the easy to read text is complemented by colorful drawings and excellent photographs. Written primarily with the home hobbyist in mind, many of the photographs depict orchids displayed in the home, which should inspire readers to fully exploit the potential of these breathtaking flowers for home decoration.

To cover all this territory in 96 pages is a challenge and All About Growing Orchids succeeds admirably. What are the drawbacks? The biggest is that the Orchid Selection Guide, though it provides an excellent overview of the different types of orchids to grow in a few pages, inevitably has to resort to some generalities. The information on orchid sources is also due for an update, and the book could benefit from a guide to orchid resources on the Worldwide Web. Nevertheless, armed with this book, beginner orchid growers will be well on their way to learning how to grow and bloom orchids in their homes.

Not Bond!
I have read a few of Gardner's Bond books and have liked them as escapist fare, but this book is poorly plotted and the relationship between Bond and "Flicka"(?)was insipid. Can you imagine a James Bond who is called a ...well let's just say the phrase was so inappropriate for Bond that I felt like I was reading James Bond by way of Beavis and Butthead. Weak.

Bond still has not gone out with the Cold War
Bond is set against a serial killer who is assasinating celebrities in this thriller. Bond's love interest is probably the best one he's had in a novel of movie since Ian Fleming's novels.

Great story. Loved the ending!
Great story! Endearing and great escapism at its best! ***** Loved this a lot! fantastic scenes and great ending! Loved this to the max! High explosive! Octane excitement! Bond stays Irrisistable! Great plotting by a master!
