Overpriced basic advice
I read this not too long ago. Here's the message of this book in a nutshell-If you're messing up, leave the devil alone and go to God. THERE! Now you can save your money and let the Right Reverend Deacon Dr. Bishop [...], OOPS! I mean Jakes, look elsewhere for desperate people without common sense to help pay for his cadillacs!

Wonderful... Wonderful... Thank God
From a woman's point of view I know that every man needs to read this book. Allow God to be first in your life. Love yourself enough to know that you can't do it alone. God is the only one who can heal the pain of the past and allow you to live today. God is good. Finally, the truth has been told. Get God and Get Ready.

An inspiration to and for REAL men.
I shared this book with a couple of friends this past Christmas. It was my way of spreading the Gospel and telling them that it does pay to serve a true living God. Before giving it as a gift, I read it and it said all the things women want men to know about who they should be as men in Christ. The one message that resonates is that you must be in the place where your blessings are to receive them. God is waiting on men to come to that place, the blessing is already there. Bless Bishop Jakes for that insight.
