This book is one for woman and the information in it will definitely enhance your health if you implement it into your life. At the onset of this read we are given twenty reasons to change our eating habits that just make good common sense. For example, The importance of lowering your cholesterol, reducing high blood pressure, boosting your brainpower and banishing fatigue and many more. Just an improvement in those areas alone should send most of us rushing to the store for a copy of this book.
As we continue the read information is broken down into categories such as: Learning about carbs; Vitamins, Stocking our kitchen with healthy food; and even a section to help you shop wisely. Also included are some question and answers for women such as, "Why do shampoos and conditioners contain vitamins and minerals?". Added on each page is a little extra tid-bit of information that is very useful. All in all this is one informative read and also a great attention grabber. Written with an easy flow you will probably go through this book in several sittings and return time and time again to use all of the valuable information inside. Very nice book.

The book came a little later than I expected and I was started to panic because my class had already begun and I had reading assignments but the book came in perfect condition and it is exactly what I needed! The most comprehensive statement of what holistic medicine is about. This book is inspiring and daunting and intelligent. It gives us a way to see not only our healing process, and the role of healers, but of ourselves in society and time and space. I think it should be required reading for doctors, nurses, patients, alternative healers, psychiatric doctors and social workers.

This book is a valuable and balanced contribution to current ethical debates about biotechnology, offered by one of the most respected of the new crop of thinkers working in the field of philosophical bioethics.

Despite its provocative title, it does not give an uncritical defence of what has become known as "liberal eugenics", i.e. the use of genetic technologies at parental discretion to select the genetic make-up of their children. On the contrary, Agar is opposed to this in many specific instances, and he believes that there would be problems even in developing such a technology ethically.

However, he puts a case that there is no blanket objection to the technology, if it can, indeed, be developed. His concern is to identify the rights and wrongs of specific circumstances - e.g. he would oppose the technology for the purpose of conformity to a dominant racial image.

This kind of nuanced contribution, neither rejecting advanced genetic technologies outright, with a shudder of revulsion, nor embracing them uncritically with libertarian glee, is what the public policy debate needs.

The book traces the author's effort to increase personal sensitivity and consciousness through group discussions, meditation and the exploration of past life memories. The primary thesis, "we create our own reality" challenges the reader to explore the way in which expectations can effect outcomes. The book reads easily and has many "testable" opportunities for altering one's own reality.

When I saw this book it just caught my eye and I had to buy it. Reading the book it made me feel alot more informative on cosmetic procedures, especially viewing his before and after pictures! After reading this book I knew this was the doctor for me.
