I was intrigued by this case, and I had some idea of who the killer or killers were by the end. It is definitely one of the classic Poirot mysteries.

I read this book in one day - what fun! It provides a combination of Magic and Mystery that is fun and exciting. I have recently found the publishers of Felony & Mayhem and I am finding their books to be a rare jewels. Elephants in the Distance takes place over a short period of time as bodies fall and secrets are revealed. The book's cover is a little deceiving since the book takes place in a fairly modern setting (1960s - 1970s)and is not a cozy 1920 mystery as the cover may lead you to expect, but it is a wonderful journey.

How to make money selling by mail, secrets of mail order marketing, what mistakes to avoid, etc. very helpful.

Eloise Elephant and Agnes Mouse are best of friends. They do everything together. One day after skating Agnes invites Eloise home to tea. Agnes tells Eloise "today is a special day, it's my birthday." Eloise had completely forgotten. She jumps up and rushes off to buy Agnes a present. She looks at all the beautiful things in the shops and muses about how Agnes would enjoy a number of presents. She finally settles on the biggest cookie she can find. But just as she arrives back at Agnes house she falls over and its breaks into a hundred pieces.

For a toddler just learning to speak this is a delightful book. The story is wonderfully whimsical (making it a pleasure to read over and over) and there's lots of things for your child to name. "Kite", "necklace", and "bridge".

My daughter particularly loves this book because her she loves mice and elephants, she loves cookies, she's fascinated by the scene where the cookie gets "broken" and then of course there's the necklace and she now must wear one every day.

This book is also a perfect size for a child hands (and easy to hold up when your reading it in bed). I'm back on line to get the rest of this series.

This simple story is truly elevated by Wilson's rich, lively drawings. My children thoroughly enjoyed this book and were thrilled for visiting Englebert the elephant when he rose to the occasion and wowed the crowd after being stunned and bewildered by a unexpected circus spotlight. The jovial verse makes it especially appealing. An uplifting book, good for reading right before you turn out the light.

This is a high quality book - the pieces are nicely reinforced and our 8 yr old son agreed that it was nicer than he thought it would be. Lots of beautiful illustrations and good information.

Frank and Ernest Play Ball is a really,really wonderful book. This book is about responsibility and learning a new sport. It talks about how good it is to learn new things by reading about it. While reading this book I really learned a lot about baseball. I have never knew what some of the terms meant. I really didn't think that there was so much responsibility on running a baseball team and a baseball field. I would be in Frank and Ernest's shoes if I was ever in that position. I think that this book is gperfect for all ages and for all people.

Lovely, charming, guardian angel picture book with short hymns, prayers, and quotes from various sources regarding those most special spiritual messengers.
