I am a resident in my 4th year of neurosurgical training and this collection of books from Dr. Yasargil has create a new way of decision making in the cns tumours. I had the chance to discuss about this volumes a few months ago with Dr. Leonard Malis during his visit to Celaya Mexico to a Neurosurgical congress and I share his opinions, great books,cornerstone! he said....thanks..

I teach 8th and 9th grade science and my students love the books in this series because of the wonderful pictures. I like them because they show the different ocean environments. The fact that they are in separate books emphasizes that they are indeed different.

In spite of a radical reluctance against the novelistic genre, Roubaud's trilogy intricates the wittingly romanesque adventures of an ingenuous beautiful heroin named Hortense with some detective plots lead by Blognard and his sidekick Arap?de. In overall terms, the "Hortense Series" melts the flowers of romance with personal, collective and, above all, literary allusions of the eighties. Brimming with references and reverences as well, overflowed with intertextuality, these poet and mathematician's novels mix calculated games and brilliant wordplays led by a self-avowed homo lisens. The trick is to mimic most of the novel's conventions and simultaneously undermine - or mock - them with perpetual and distancing confusions between narrative levels, fictions of science, and oblique indications about the "work in progress". But beyond riddles, puns and conundrums, as the author and the reader - as a detective - are getting part of the play, the aim is clearer and clearer: liable and poetic rules and regulations can deeply shape the novels as required, for Roubaud like oulipians, use self-imposed formal "constraints". Now, the most enjoyable reading lectures can begin.

This book is honestly the best book I have ever read. I love the French version of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil because I love the French language. I suggest one reads this book in French or English. You could read this book in pig latin and it would still be the best, most interesting book ever composed. John Berendt truly captures the spirit of Savannah. You never know what will happen next in this book. From a spicy, beautiful drag queen to a living-dead dog, this book is a page turner I suggest everyone reads.

Having started a non-profit organization a couple of years ago, I've been really interested in the management side of our work, so I started a personal development schedule. This book was one of many that I've read, and I must write that there is a lot of wonderful information that has helped me so much as I grow into the role of non-profit manager. Highly recommended for all in non-profit management!

I am the river, deep and strong; I sing an old, enduring song ........ I found this book while searching for books for my grandchildren, and bought this because I love poetry that RHYMES. I read this book, and then read it again, and then typed it out so I could carry it in my wallet so I could read it when the whim struck. It is lovely poetry! It tells a story and is essentially a song about the Mississippi. I have no connection whatsoever to the Mississippi River, but that makes no difference. If you love rhyming, poetic, musical words, this is for you! And for your grandchildren, or children. All of Diane Siebert's books are wonderful, but this one will stick in your head the longest. Please try to find this book! You won't regret it.

This book with many illustrations, french text and bibliography is a superb collection of many of "Moebius's works up to about 1975.
