This book really goes step by step in teaching students how to write clearly. This is wonderful for the writing portion of the AP exam and for life skills in general. The exercises are great!!! It forces my students to really think about what they thinking about a topic and the most organized and entertaining way to pass their thoughts to the reader. 3 Thumbs Up!!!

Guido Cavalcanti: The Other Middle Ages by Maria Luisa Ardizzone (Department of Italian Studies, New York University) presents a fascinating and scholarly examination of the life and work of the renowned Italian poet of the late thirteenth century, Guido Cavalcanti, who is especially his famously complex poem "Donna me prega". An meticulously researched study placing Cavalcanti's work within the context of the intellectual history of the European era, as well as comparing Cavalcanti and his work with that of Dante, Guido Cavalcanti is a highly recommended addition to Italian literary studies collections as it offers an fresh and innovative reading of a truly classic poetry that transcends centuries.

This book is a good start to a much broader way of doing things. I really loved the whole approach and hope they come out with more supplements that follow the way of adding features to existing characters. The background material for each guild is well done and is just enough to use without bogging you down. Give this book a try especially if you aren't finding prestige classes to your liking.

Conguratulations for the excellent work Mr. Mathieu did for this second edition of the catalogue. A lot of color reproductions made us much easier to feel and enjoy the spirit of the works.

I have never find a book so well documented and simple. I use his exercice since I am 12 years old. today I am 30. If you look for an harmonious development I recommend this book. And enjoy!

Charles Upton challenges Robert Bly's interpretation of the Grimm's fairly tale Iron John, an interpretation which had a strong impact on a generation of confused men looking for answers about what it means to be a man. Upton's critique draws from the perspective of the traditionalist school of writers - notably the French metaphysician Rene Guenon - and presents a profound alternative reading of the fairy tale in which the question of what it means to be a man is eclipsed by the greater question of what it means to be truly human.

I consider this book a classic on the subject of, as the title suggests, handling the young cerebral palsied at home. It gives information on physiotherapy, occupational therapy ,speech therapy and how to best apply these methods in the child's own home. The illustrations are well drawn and the book is very well written in clear, easy to understand language. This book is a must for all parents of young children with cerebral palsy.

This is the first book ever published on Korean architecture in English. It does a remarkable job listing the salient aspects of traditional housing design from both a sociological and formal perspective. The book is illustrated with loads of gorgeous photos and helpful diagrams. Even though my knowledge of Korean architecture is fairly advanced (it is my graduate major), I still found some new information in this great volume, written by a cadre of experts in the field.
