I enjoyed this book. Particularly the chapter about the Indian holy man Sai Baba. I'm looking forward to his nex book.

Easy to understand and a good price. Your Psychic Powers gave me a clear understanding of ESP and how to apply it to life. Would recommend also Craig Hamilton-Parker's book The Psychic Workbook (Vermilion Publishers)

Your Psychic Powers- a beginner's guide, by Craig Hamilton-Parker is a simple and easy to read introduction to Extra Sensory Perception. A great gift at a reasonable price. Also contains a useful guide to help you find a good psychic who you can consult. Fab stuff.

I have found this book to be very, very helpful in strengthening my psychic abilities. It was also comforting to see that many other women have the same experiences as myself (I'm not the only one!-:) In fact, after reading this book, I also had several other experiences (all positive), which I am pretty sure are a direct result of having read this powerful book. This book explains how much strength lies in our thoughts/words/desires. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in increasing their psychic potential.

This is a wonderful book for tapping into you hidden and/or repressed psychic ablilities. The author explains the philosophy of Chakras and Auras, and goes on to identifying the meanings of dreams and spirit guides. It is a very empowering book, written by a strong women!

This is a superb reference work covering almost every conceivable aspect of anomalistic psychology and its relata. Very refreshing in that George is fair but by no means a pushover and gives all the subject matter a clear, incisive treatment. A number of appendices document the results of various psychological tests and their relationship to paranormal belief.

This book is an excellent reference book that includes almost every variety of unusual and extraordinary human experience. Leonard George's writing is clear and down-to-Earth as he describes such esoteric topics as ESP, telekinesis, lucid dreaming, meditation, and mystical experiences. I love the way each entry contains both an explanation and at least one example, so it's easy to quickly comprehend what is being discussed. Some definitions go even farther, and cover the history and background of the phenomena around the world. This book is a delightful encyclopedia to either read sequentially or simply as the need arises to look something up.

I loved every minute of this read. Ms. Mercado is very
adept at making us feel what she and her family felt.
I don't know if I believe in ghosts or not, but after
reading Grave's End, I have never been more unsure. The
author is honest and friendly and leaves the reader with
the feeling that what happened to them could happen to
anyone. I'd love to see this story on the big screen.
Scares me just to think of it. Good luck to the author

Brent Lee's book is a very accessable, down-to-earth writing that presents profound spiritual truths in practical, step-by-step ways. Brent provides systematic information for both the long-time student of metaphysics as well as the beginner. Great book to share with others for conversation and growth!

I especially enjoy reading the stories Brent shares -- such as the times he played astral travel tag with a friend of his. He could usually catch his friend, because he did not share his friend's belief that it was impossible to walk through furniture! Brent describes an earlier out-of-body experience in which he walked half-way through his closed bedroom door, when the thought ran through his mind that he could not walk through solid objects. "Since I was already half way through the door, I became imprisoned within the door. For a moment, I felt fear: how was I going to explain this predicament to my family? Then I 'got a grip' on myself and remembered that in my spirit form, I am not limited by physical structures. With that realization, I received a mild shock from the door as I passed on through. In the same manner, you can pass through solid objects in your conscious state or in your physical body, or pass your hand through your 'solid' table. The only limitation is the limitation of your own belief about your own reality."

I recommend this book to those who are on a spiritual path and would like to open their minds to new possibilities. BEYOND KNOWING is an invigorating book that will help clean out any beliefs you might be feeling limited by. I am moved by its wisdom, touched by its honesty, inspired by its integrity, and awed by its love. I give it my highest recommendation, and look forward to reading more wonderful books by Brent Lee!

After reading Cindy Marie's book, Born With It, you would be mistaken to assume that a psychic has an easy life. In her sometimes harrowing, sometimes humorous account, she tells the story of how she dealt with her paranormal abilities while growing up, beginning with how she began to see spirits as a child. That may seem normal enough - we all 'see' ghosts in the closet and 'feel' there are devils under the bed when we are young. Cindy Marie did too; only for her, they continued on through adulthood. Imagine constantly seeing goblins, trolls, evil spirits, as though you were trapped inside a Stephen King novel on a nightly basis - while your spouse is blissfully asleep next to you. Imagine also that you see premonitions of plane crashes, automobile accidents, or the image of a strange man with a wrench in your kitchen, who later turns out to be the kind and helpful plumber you hire a week later. In describing one of her visions, here she is at her most personal and laconic: "the next couple of nights, instead of angels, Jesus himself came. Talk about scared." As a reader, you nod in agreement with her, yet smile because her style is personable and friendly (and even humorous). In short, her book is an unusual, fascinating, and powerful account of how she came to understand the meaning behind her visions and premonitions - or rather, how she overcame her fears about her extraordinary perceptions, and dedicated her abilities to God and to helping people, especially helping the parents of children who may be experiencing similar types of visions that she did. Cindy Marie has done an exceptional job of relating her true childhood and adult experiences with the metaphysical world. A "must read" for any parent of a chld who is experiencing seeing and speaking to unseen "friends" and deceased family members, frightening occurrences at bedtime, etc. Also a "must read" for any adult who has experienced similar happenings as a child or adult, as well as anyone interested in true stories of the paranormal/metaphysical. From goblins to levitating beds, to talking gargoyles, Cindy Marie will definitely leave you wanting more!

This book gives a great indepth overview of the occult. It starts by enlighting you to senses beyond the first five and presents two new ones Telepathy and Clairvoyance. These are split into subcatagories: Telepathic mind reading, psychometry, crystal-gazing. Clairvoyant aura-waves-vibrations, space and time, second-sight, astral-body traveling. Also explains psychic laws & principles, influence over others & at a distance, attraction, magnetic healing. Its about 300 pages, but is so compressed it seems like thousands. I highly recommend it.

I read and studied this book many years ago. I am glad to see it back in print! I used to give it out as a present to people interested in the occult.

One of the best books I've ever read!.

This book tells about the spiritual conflict that has continued throughout time. It is classified as occult but should be better classified as history or non-fiction. For example it tells us about Adolf Hitler and the fact that he was a member in the OTO established by A. Crowley. He also spoke with such mesmerising oratoracle prowess yet lacked the education to back his speeches. Many believe he was spiritually influenced. The book goes back to basically the beginning of time to present, is extensively cross referenced and researched. It will enlighten even the most sceptic reader to the spiritual good and bad influences that have effected mankinds history. It touches on theories that have not been proven but yet strike a familiar chord that can be easily recognized as very likely such as why is it that in early history there is tales of dragons and the like....but where are they today. One theory states that as mankind has become more advanced the spirits (who can appear as anything such as angels) have become more tactful. It tells of strange coincedences such as recorded accounts of spiritual manifistations being accompanied by strange lights, smell of sulfur, a strange buzzing type of noise. It is also present in a large number of UFO sightings. I could go on and on but you will just have to read it for yourself. If you can find it. I found my copy in Palma, Mallorca but gave it to a person that didn't believe in the after life or angels and demons. Changed her outlook but I never got my book back. (end). True, a rare type of new age book. No lies in this, just truth. Also very informative, interesting and heartwarming. I reccomend it to anyone seeking truth.

This book is a wonderful tool not only to help children understand their natural intutive qualities but helps parents understand their child and encourage thier talents in a way that does not frighten either the child or the parent. This book explains how parents can come to a better understanding of their child's questions when something happens to the child that they do not quite know how to handle. This subject is one that has been overlooked because parents just didn't listen or take time to take their children seriously when they talk of psychic or intutive happenings. All parents should read this book even if they don't believe in ESP. Knowing how to recognize words espressed from your child and if what they say is fact or fiction will be helpful to any parent.
