This book, The Sixth Sense, has some scary parts, not very scary, but sorta. If you have seen the movie, it is a sequel to that. If you haven't, it is a story about an 11 year old kic named Cole Sear who can see dead people. His mom, Lynn, knows that he can see them, but she can't. Cole has to help everyone of the dead people or they will never leave him alone, or live in peace.

Whether you know a lot about ESP (Extra sensory perception) or you don't, you will really learn a lot from this book. It gives practical tests for you to increase your ESP capacity, true stories about ESP, and lots more! It is also entertaining. A very good ESP book!

To be quite honest . . . I don't feel like writing a complete and thorough review but POINT, BLANK, PERIOD; This book changed my life & I would recommend it to ANYONE! If you read this book and are at that point in your life, ready to ask serious questions and keep an optimistic channel open, I believe this book is for you then.

The basic premise of this book is that a physical Fourth Dimension exists (as opposed to a mathematical abstraction.)
This fourth dimension provides an explanation for most paranormal phenomenon (synchronicity, spirit communication, movement of objects through space and time, automatic writing, deja vu, clairvoyance, dowsing, etc.) The human mind has the ability to percieve this higher dimension (at least briefly) but it has to bypass a natural built-in "censor" that evolution has erected to keep us from being distracted at a three dimensional level of perception and survival. Indeed, if we were to totally eliminate this censor our brains might very well be overwhelmed by an all-seeing, all-knowing God-like state that we just are not ready to handle either mentally or spiritually. However, it may be that our higher Self (as opposed to our physical brain) is naturally a fourth dimensional entity.

This is the best book on this subject that I have found, it is a step beyond even Rucker's work.

J.B. Rhine was one of the orginal scientific investigators of psychic phenomenon, and just about everyone who has followed has walked in Rhine's footsteps. I found this book fascinating!

This book is great for anyone with a strong science background or understanding. It will be a little dry to read for others, but is none the less the best book describing telepathy and precognition research ever done. A must read for anyone interested in teaching, testing, or developing psychic abilities.
