I am an avid reader. Much of what I read relates to Personal Development and Spirituality. With each book I read I feel as though I grow. With Everyday Karma, not only did I grow, but I felt the book was so empowering and impactual that the world and people around me changed. Well, of course maybe they didn't change, but I think my perspective and the way I handle things changed so much that it gives the illusion of the world around me changing for the better.
Since I have completed the book I have recommeded it to everyone, no matter "where they are" in their lives. I knew this book could inspire them. I knew they would benefit and appreciate the positive energy that comes from the goodness of Carmen's heart.
With my recommendations I have watched others transform their lives also. Carmen is doing the world a wonderful service by sharing her works and wisdom in Everyday Karma. Now, more than ever, I think EVERYONE should read this book and use it as their strength, guide and inspiration through life.

Carmen Harra is so comletely connected with the universe. She understands ALL OF US. Her book has had the most positive impact on my life and I wish I had found it years ago. My life truly has a new meaning and purpose. I am more in touch with who I really am and what I am supposed to be doing with my life. She is full of love and positive energy. Consider yourself fortunate if you are reading this review and are inspired to read her book. It may be just the push you are looking for.

This was one of the best books I've ever read. It's very educating and I can almost guarentee that you will come out of it with an entirely new, more enlightened perspective on life. Anyone looking to better his or her life (or just in search of a good read) should definitely pick up a copy.

This book really is as good as everyone says in their reviews. The only reason I marked it down to 4 stars was because I found the reading (not the content) a long hard slog. I found myself reading only a few pages at a time because it was like walking through knee deep sludge - hard work! This is mainly because it is written using very old-fashioned English terminology and style of presentation (of course it is, being written in the 20s) and it can be difficult to follow because of that. Content wise, well, I am using my new found knowledge now and working on my own OOBE and having some success at the early stages - still a way to go yet. To sum up? WORTH EVERY CENT - BUY IT!

Simply put, an excellent book! I read many other books on Astral Projection (Monroe, Bruce, Peterson, Buhlman) before I read Muldoon's which was written decades ago. I found it surprising how many concepts were discussed in Muldoon's work and how much this influenced the later studies on Astral Projection. This is the book that opened up the gate to understanding astral projection.

This is certainly an interesting book. When I checked this book out of a library years ago, I was expecting a poorly written book with no good explainations. How wrong I was! This excellent book is the best of the best. The Projection of the Astral Body offers great information about OOBEs, and theroies on how they work. This book has been my favorite in all of my collection.

Meaning: It's damn good.

Dr Orloff's "Second Sight" provides an example of a whole-brain view of reality. As a medical doctor she is courageous to admit that she has the ability of clairvoyance. She does not care what her peer psychiatricians think about her. She tell readers her story as both a scientist and a psychic person. In her practice, she combines her psychiatric knowledge with her intuitive or psychic gift. She uses both sides of her brain.
I practiced medicine in China for more than 15 years. I also interested in physics and psychology. I have rather strong power of intuition. Scientific materialism and reductionism in life sciences are not convincing to me. I believe that the dominant paradigm, based on the five-sensory perceptions, is not complete, because among other things, it fails to explain the psychic phenomena, including the second sight descibed in Dr Orloff's wonderful book. I strongly suggest you to read this book if you still curious about the world, about the capacity of human consciousness. This is a well written book presenting only facts, not religion, not metaphysics. Scientific materialism is a left-brain world view, which ignores intuition and all psychic phenomena. Dr Orloff's book demonstrates that a whole-brain world view is in need and a whole-brain medicine is possible.

I learned of Dr. Orloff from a radio interview, and I bought both of her books immediately (the other being Intuitive Healing). I recently finished Second Sight, and I must commend Dr. Orloff on putting out an excellent practical guide to trusting our intuition. I tend to be on the critical side of books of this nature, but this was an outstanding work (in my opinion).

The book uses a compelling structure where Dr. Orloff begins her tale at the breaking point in her professional career where she decides to intergrate her intuitive skills with her professional psychiatric practice. From there, she leads the reader on a very personal journey where she dealt with her abilities, and there is a very touching chapter where she comes to a greater understanding of her family (particularly her mother and grandmother's intuitive abilities). She completes the cycle by showing ways to apply intuitive reasoning into everyday life, Dr. Orloff avoids the normal cliches and makes the skills applicable to most readers. I really enjoyed her writing style and the structure of the writing.

Dr. Orloff's suggestion of keeping a dream journal is something I have always balked on, but her stories reinforced the practical value of this. I have started doing this daily ritual, and it has already provided valuable insight into my daily challenges.

I would highly recommend Dr. Orloff's work, and I look forward to her next book (hint hint).

I knew I had to purchase Second Sight when I first met Judith Orloff on the television show Beyond Chance. I purchased the book the next day and it was very inspirational. I found the book honest and spoken from the heart. Judith has answered many of my unspoken questions. Second Sight has taken me on a journey beyond my wildest dreams and has exposed my psychic to a different level. I look forward to reading her new book entitled Positive Energy.

I bought the book based on the reviews and was disappointed as a result.

The material is basic. The chapters have enticing titles but don't really deliver. I don't think reading this book will help you awaken the Seer in you nor the Shaman.

Really, most of what's here is fluff. My feeling is that if he really knows more, he's not telling us...

However, this probably is a good book for those with rudimentary knowledge in the subject matter looking for an intro.

I'm at the age of sixteen and have read dozens of books on how to develop your psychic intuition. Some helped but Andrei's book did it for me. Not only that, it opened up a COMPLETELY NEW world to me. No doubt it will for you. If your looking or trying to start up your psyche, get this book. It will be the only one you will ever need. I'm sixteen and am a pyschic myself. But then again you are too. This book will prove it.

I am a psychic myself and felt drawn to explore Andrei Ridgeway's book/guide to increase one's psychic awareness. I was surprized to find that all of my own metaphysical experiences throughout my life were all tucked away into a neat little book that I wished I had been able to buy 10 years ago. I found all of the excercises which I had to discover on my own, to increase my telepathy, were written in a guide of the author's own experiences. I am happy to know a book, which is an open and honest account of true psychic experience is available to millions of people to awaken their own inner guide in a fun and simple way. I also appreciated the author's ability to bring a sense of spirituality into the metaphysical experience which, I don't find in many other psychic books. I found the author to write as though he was actually talking to the reader. This to me is a reader friendly book to help one awaken their own psychic world in a fun and interesting way, as well as open their minds to a fascinating experience. I recommend this book highly to anyone interested in opening their own awareness.

In Best Evidence, Michael Schmicker presents a wealth of research on ESP, Dowsing, Remote Viewing, Distance Healing, and many other phenomena which are often termed "psychic powers."

Michael, having exhaustively researched these fields, presents the "best evidence" for each and allows the reader to draw his or her own conclusions. However, after reading study after study (most of which are clearly documented), the average reader will have a difficult time remaining skeptical.

A favorite line of mine: "Even more spectacular -- though less important from a scientific proof standpoint because it was only accomplished once -- was [Duke University divinity school student and ESP laboratory subject] Pearce succeeding on one ocassion in getting 25 straight hits [correct card guesses] in a row. The odds against such a feat? One in 300 quadrillion."

Not a number we see very often.

Michael's book is excellent -- well-written, thoroughly researched, and open-minded. Highly recommended.

This book is a keeper once read for just this alone.

IF YOU ARE OF THE SCIENTIFIC MIND, this book gives you enough information to launch your own investigation into these recorded documentations of this phenomena. Let's face it, if we can use statistics to prove quality levels, prove scientific theorems we can also use it in Psi phenomena. This books points you to studies where scientists did just that. Excellent book. I'm going to dog-ear it for the references for sure.

I found the book an excellent read; I am a recent PSI junkie. This is my 4th or 5th book on the subject. Although I agree it is well-done, I recommend Dean Radin's book as a better, and more credible introduction.

Still 5 stars as I appreciate the entertaining writing.

As the title says, this is one of the best books I Have ever read. A Clarevoyant told me I had the psychic ability and it needed developing, he said I should read every book on mediumship I could get my hands on and this was the first book I read, it truely inspired my and answered many question. Rosemary is a wonderful gifted person and you feel as if you know her personally by the end of the book, she really opens her heart up to you. A must read for everyone, my husband and children would enjoy me reciting some of the storys from this book and it even got my 8 year old son interested in the spirit world

What a wonderful way to confirm my belief in life after death. I now am a believer that modern-day miracles are indeed real. Anyone who had any doubts must read this book. Rosemary has given the world proof that our loved ones who have passed away are safe and happy. I am confident that one day, with the help of a sincere medium, I will be able to contact my beloved son who died at the age of 19. When I was a young teenager I could read a book straight through without putting it down. I've been missing that and then when I came to reading this book it re-occured; I couldn't put it down and there was that wonderful feeling again.

Most of the time I am not on good terms with religion, it creates war if you ask me and therefor I also normally have a hard time reading books that mention God continously through out. However Rosemary has managed to get around my defenses when it comes to that and I could read this book openmindedly.
Reading openheartedly is quite easy for me, but keeping an open mind about things, can be hard sometimes. I found myself respecting her description of what she felt was a God, it was opened enough for me to think of it as something else, anything that my mind wouldn't despise so much. Maybe it helps that her descriptions of certain happenings reminded me of my own experiences. In particular I liked her description of the ether body and then when she went on to tie that together with the "out of body experiences" when you are looking down on your own body - I thought it was phenomenal how well she described it.

This is a book to discover yourself in, or to accept and respect yourself for who you are!

It is a real shame that this book is no longer in print - I buy every used copy I come across to give to friends. This book will change your life. It is an easy read, and the excercises work from the very start. IT IS NOT FILLED WITH THE TYPICAL DRIVEL THAT IS IN MOST PSYCHIC?ESP BOOKS! I agree with a previous reviewer, you will get more out of this book than sever hundred dollars worth of seminars.

I saw this book in a bookstore in Atlanta, Ga over 17 years ago in it's first edition. While I had not been impressed with other "How to 'do' psychic stuff" books, and was also under considerable parental pressure not to acquire more (being a young and "impressionable" teen at the time), a cursory read of the text showed what appeared to be quite simple instructions and a fascinating breadth of supposed psychic abilities covered. So, impressed, I snuck up to the counter when my Mom wasnt looking and bought it.

As other reviewers have noted, the most amazing fact about this book is that you start seeing results from the moment you put its techniques into practice. You will have some degree of success with everything mentioned in the book, from seeing auras to table tipping. There will be points during practice of the excercises when you make a breakthrough, and your hair will literally stand on end.

As one of the most easily accessible texts on psychic abilities I have ever encountered, it is indeed a shame that this text has gone out of print. Having said this, a more widespread reading of the text and practice of the excercises would no doubt make many of the "extraordinary" abilities listed in the book become downright commonplace. The author, and the book, are really that good!

for me. An amazing little book by a man who's been President of
a few different American psychic societies and has a way of coming across which is so down to earth and easy to approach that your level of education doesn't matter. I think thats great.

I also think its amazing the number of books on Amazon and [another store] on this subject that don't get as nearly as many reviews from folks telling you how THEY got specific results from the use of this little book.

I've read many of St. Clair's books and was inspired to create a FREE MSN (microsoft network) community dedicated to him and his books. There are many books out there more sophisticated and prestigious but few that will get you the RESULTS you want as quick or as successfully. That's a rare talent. Thanks David!!

The authors are very observant Jewish women who believe that the extraordinary events recounted in this book are not random but rather divine acts of intervention. There was a particularly moving tale of a young man who had a terrible falling out with his father. Two amazing coincidences .. or more accurately, small miracles brought him close to his father after his father died. I won't go into the details because I don't want to spoil it for you if you read this book but, suffice it to say, if this story is accurate, it is indeed miraculous. It just could not be a coincidence. This book is charming and uplifting. I have suffered a recent disappointment in my personal life and prayerfully, I am seeking to discover the reason. I am convinced, that in the spirit of this book, I will discover a miracle in that the real reason for this disappointment will lead me to enormous personal fulfillment. I recommend this book to all who believe in miracles or who wish they could so believe.

I really enjoyed the book! Every different story made me smile and think of things that happen to me everyday, if there were small miracles for me as well. I felt a little bit happier with the world today after reading the book, because it made me think that maybe there are good things that happen in society today that just may outweigh the bad. I recommend it to anyone who feels down about today's society and I can guarantee that it will make you have a much better outlook on the world.

It will make you laugh and cry! Superb stories. Most stories come from people from the Jewish faith which makes me wonder why don't more people from other faiths share their miracles with the authors or why the authors include overwhelmingly miracles that happen to people who share their faith. In spite of that little nagging thought that arose somewhere as I was reading the book, I absolutely loved it!!!!

I was first introduced to Sonia Choquette when a friend, knowing that I was on a journey of self discovery, gave me Sonia's book "Your Heart's Desire". The book was filled with so many incredible tools to help find and fulfill our heart's desire. 8 months after receiving the book, I attended Sonia's workshop based upon the book. Combined with the book, the workshop was a life-changing event for myself.

After the workshop, I wanted to experience more of Sonia's wisdom, therefore I purchased "The Psychic Pathway". I must admit that before reading the book, I was uncomfortable with the word 'psychic'. To me, psychic conjured up images of the psychic hotlines that are advertised on TV. After reading the first chapter, I realized that I was not alone when it comes to "psychic heebie-jeebies". In fact there are exercises concerning this subject in the first chapter!

I have read the book and have become very much aware of my own psychic abilities (Now I am even comfortable with the word psychic!). The book puts the core of what our soul is, in terms that anyone can understand and more importantly in a perspective that we can apply to ourselves. The warmth of the author is apparent with the many personal stories that she shares throughout the book. The questions, exercises and suggestions throughout the book are helpful, informative and insightful towards tapping into our soul. The book is totally awesome and I would strongly suggest anyone on a personal journey of growth, self actualization and authentication of self read this hands on book. The book truly gives perspective on reclaiming our birthright of living life from our soul!

One sidenote. When I attended the workshop, the author and her assistant displayed a warmth that made them very approachable. I have attended book signings, talked to authors and none can compare to the sincerity that Sonia and her assistant have for each individual's own journey through life!

Having had the wonderful opportunity to actually take Sonia's 12 week class "Psychic U" in Chicago, I can tell you that this book is as close as you can get to the real thing! If you are serious about developing your intuative gifts I cannot reccommend this book enough. There is a lot of "work" involved, but the results are well worth it!

Why must you read this book? Because Robert Brown answers some amazing questions we all have asked from a religious or spiritual perspective:
-What happens to us when we die?
-What happens if you commit suicide or have a child who dies early?
-What happens to those who commit horrible atrocities on others (i.e. murder)?
-What role does religion play in the spirit world?

Many spiritual laws are mentioned, though not all at once - but some ,such as the Karma, are explained .

Most of the book goes into extensive detail on what a medium is, does , and how he became one. The appendix is written solely for those wishing to pursue this spiritual journey. Though not everyone is meant to be a medium, this book sheds enormous light on what one truly is.

The overall message is clear: we are eternal and have a purpose here on Earth we must achieve for our limitless spiritual growth.

Anyone interested in learning spiritual truths will learn much from the knowledge gathered by Robert Brown(through his work as a medium).

Robert Brown has written an informative and entertaining book about mediumship. It was interesting to read about the different ways that spirits try to contact "ordinary" people and recognize that some of these experiences have happened to me. The exercises for meditation and psychic development were easy to follow and enlightening. Reading about Robert's personal life and spiritual development was oftentimes humorous and touching. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in communication with loved ones who have passed on.

After reading many books by several empowering authors such as Betty Eadie, John Edward, Sylvia Browne, and Tiffany Snow, that I am still reading, my life has opened up to me in such a compelling and wonderful way. This new book is well written, and thought provoking. There are great transforming authors, who shift the consciousness of humankind in a way never known before, and have the courage to reveal their paranormal experiences. "We Are Eternal" is one of these.
