307 Countries and countingWith his excellent advice, I was able to work Clipperton with 80 watts to a vertical on 15 meters CW!
If you're interested in DXing, buy this book. It will put more countries in your log than your amp will.
I've gotten 307 countries worked (306 confirmed), and am waiting for A35RE for #307.

Take it from an ER doc: this is a book you must read!Fortunately, you need not leave your fate to chance. If you follow the advice given by Dr. Cohen, you can become an intelligent participant in your care and proactively take steps to reduce a myriad number of risks, any one of which may put you at increased risk of death or disability. Or you can play the blame game, in which you or your survivors point fingers in a courtroom. That's great for lawyers, but is it good for you? Obviously not, if health means more to you than money. Malpractice attorneys like to justify their existence by believing that they're performing a useful public service: namely, punishing doctors for real or imagined errors and thereby enhancing the quality of medical care. In theory, that sounds great. In reality, that system just isn't effective.
If everyone read and followed the advice in this book, Dr. Cohen would do far more to enhance the delivery of first-rate emergency healthcare than every malpractice attorney in this country. Collectively, Dr. Cohen's advice could save billions of dollars and an untold number of tragedies. I don't know of any other book that offers so many helpful ER tips. If you don't read this book, some day you will probably wish you did. Even though I'm an ER doc, I learned some helpful things from Dr. Cohen. His splendid advice could help so many people in so many ways. Do yourself a favor, and read this book.

Fabulous!! A must have for any WDW visitor.I spend a lot (and I mean, A LOT) of time planning my vacations. My planning includes scouring the web, reading tons of books and watching travel shows months ahead of my travel date. I've browsed through many Disney World related books in my local bookstore but the Passporter is the one that impressed me the most.
If you are planning a vacation to Disney World, and particularly if you intend to spend most of your trip in the WDW property, I HIGHLY recommend this book. It is packed with information on the hotels, restaurants, theme parks, special activities as well as travel tips and planning info for your trip. At least 3 pages are dedicated to each Disney resort and even more pages on each theme park (along with some great maps). There is also a great rating system for each resort, theme park attraction and restaurant/eatery. My favorite feature (which I have not seen in other travel books) are the maps of each hotel resort which even shows where the pools, eateries, play areas and transportation location.
I initially bought 2 other Disney-related travel books but returned those and kept just this one. Unless you're planning to spend a lot of time outside the Disney property, this really is the only book you will need. And for those who will be dividing their time between Disney and other Orlando theme parks, be sure to get this book and check out one of the following: "The Unofficial Guide to Florida with Kids" by Pam Brandon (if traveling with children) or "The Everything Travel Guide to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Greater Orlando" by Jason Rich. Happy travels!
Worth It's Weight In Gold!I bought Birnbaum's WDW guide and Walt Disney World with Kids for a trip 3 years ago and they pale in comparison. Passporter gave me new ideas and insights and the authors don't miss a trick. Passporter has a ton of money-saving and sanity-saving tips that the other books don't have. There is also a Passporter website with updates and other useful information.
If you buy only one WDW guide, let this be the one!
Fabulous Planner, Definitely Worth Buying!I found the planning pages and ride descriptions very helpful in choosing where to go and when. Since we can't possibly do everything in one week's time, we used the information given in the Passporter to line up our priorities and choose things we could live without. While my family thinks I'm insane to plan so carefully, I know that we will enjoy our trip more and get to do more of the "important" things with the help of the Passporter.
I highly recommend the Passporter, and particularly the deluxe edition, to anyone planning a visit to Disneyworld.

14 Year-old From Delaware Loves This Book
A must for ER fans!
ER is the best show acordding to us 13-14 year olds in Tx.
Each chapter of this brilliant book displays and describes a different animal/pet and its unique problem. Biology plays a major part in this book because it's about the science of studying and curing living things. It exposes the drama of life in the emergency ward of a veterinary hospital, which is a biology-related occupation. The first chapter summarizes the atmosphere of the Intensive Care Unit at Tufts; it's sad and yet successful too. The next eleven chapters of Animal ER present various animals and their life-threatening problems. Some require complex surgical procedures, while others are solved by unexpected and simple means. The last chapter returns to the Intensive Care Unit and reveals what the animals teach the veterinarians. The main idea expressed at the closing of the book touched my soul as tears rose to the surface like a newly found spring. Vicki Croke wrote that the animals who are cared for seem to teach simple lessons about life. "Animals continue to surprise me with their patience, their level of tolerance, and their strength," Nishi says, "but most of all, with their ability to forgive" (194).
I would strongly recommend this brilliant book to my friends or those people who are thinking of going into the veterinary field of study. Since I've never had a pet, I cannot relate to the owners of these sick animals; however, I can see this book as a slice of a veterinarian's life. It captures the essence of the Intensive Care Unit during first examinations, x-rays, surgery, and post-operative care. It is clear to see, as they treat animals, that Nishi Dhupa, Dr. Mark Pokras, Dr. John Berg, and other staff members at Tufts have the "healing touch". So even though some people don't have their primary needs met like food, shelter, and clothing, animals have a right to our care and concern.
