This was an excellent find. Anyone who feels that they are not clear on the myriad of treaties and agreements that have shaped the economic integration of Europe will be well served here. In a simple, easy to read format, this book explains things step by step without being patronizing or talking down to the reader. Legal jargon is kept to a minimum. The book is neatly organized, so if you are interested in a particular area, you can find it easily. If you are a student interested in researching the EU, or an academic looking for clarification on something simple, or someone looking to do business in Europe, this book is for you.

Great look at today's youth potenial. Mr.Shames did a great job with the views and the shots really catch how our kids see things.

I was doing research on the legal regime for the Caribbean's integration programme, the Caricom Single Market and Economy. I was happy to have the evolution of the jurisprudence of the ECJ laid out in such a thorough manner which enabled me to draw linkages with the CSME. Brilliant style, unbelievable deep insight - almost as good as the books of Dr. Driever

Ohly and Spence have produced a very useful guide to a complicated but important area of the law. The authors examine the important jurisprudence in the area with insight and flair. They have distilled the important points and demonstrated a number of flaws in various European directives or proposals.

Just like the Mack trucks of old, and what the reputation of the brand was built on, this book is top notch. The legendary E model Mack's lighter end of the scale is examined in detail with excellent photos showing factory fresh and working trucks. Excellent for anyone into modelling, dreaming of owning one or currently restoring a survivor. Some of the supplied model information is pretty basic but the pictures speak thousands of words. A fan of classic trucks will get a real kick out of this and will no doubt want to get the EH-ES photo archive to continue the journey through the E Model.

The photos in the copy I own seem to be printed a bit funny. They are still excellent but seem to have a kind of semi-gloss finish, almost facsimile look, to them. Odd when compared to other Iconografix books in this series but nothing to be too stressed about!

Mavericks of black literature are the focus of these essays, considering such under-mentioned writers as J.A. Rogers, an early member of the Harlem Renaissance and pioneering journalist; and Vincent Carter, who lived as a voluntary expatriate writer in Europe. Out There is an intriguing and thoughtful account of a very unusual set of black writers.

The EC New direction books are giving a lot of grief by comic collectors because of the self censorship on some of the wilder takes of the series.

There were some real gems in there however and piracy was one of them, the artwork throughout is the same high quality EC work that we saw before and the plots are strong and well developed and the art is just first rate.

So don't let your anger and what happened to Gains and company put you off of this work, it is very much worth your attention and your cash.
