Easy to read, clearly indexed and well designed this book defines the phrase "essential reference" and I especially recommend it for families.

I started reading this to my daughter when she was six months old. The book is smaller than the traditional big picture books, and is very easy and quick to read. The books pages go as follows:
On one page it says: DO feed an elephant peanuts
On the opposite page it says: DON'T feed him peanut butter

The colors are very vivid and the drawing simple. This is a nice book to read to your child starting from day one! We are on our third copy of it and my daughter just turned three.
Great for a boy or a girl.

Among the crowd of classics, such as "Goodnight Moon," and newer books by Boynton and others, this book captivates the attention of our 14-month old son, and we are grateful to the author. After two months of daily reading, we put it away. It was recently rediscovered, and he constantly reaches for it in the pile of books we make available to him. Is it the colors? The characters? Or the sheer amusement of it all? Maybe it's laughing along with his father or mother as we read it together. Highly recommended from a happy father. I'm buying more from Todd Parr!

It is just as good ad the author's other book. With cute colourful illustration, it grasp my son's eye right away.

I love this book and all the related titles for activities and crafts that are kid-tested and can be done independently. These crafts are also inexpensive and appeal to both girls and boys. Ideal for kids, or for adults looking for worthwhile activities for their own kids or for clubs, scouts, or church activities. Buy a used one and it's an even bigger bargain.

I really like this book because I really like the show ZOOM. I think that it's a lot of fun to do the crafts and activities that you see the ZOOMers doing on TV. They are also easy for kids my age to understand. One day I want to be on ZOOM, and these activities help me perpare for all the fun things that the ZOOMers do.

This book has cool crafts you can build and make! =)

Alecia has captured the true meaning of childhood, putting together a comprehensive collection of activities that will captivate children and take their parents back to their own carefree days. A "must have" addition to the library of parents and parents-to-be!

I used this book last year when I visited Dallas/Fort Worth and I plan on using it again this year. Since I only make one week trips to see my family, I'm sure that I'll be using this book for several years to come! (Or until the next edition comes out!)

This book rates as one of my favorites and I would recommend this one to anyone serious about vintage Beetles!
If you're serious about having your Beetle 100% original this book shows the reader the 49-59 annual changes made to the Beetle and what options are correct based on serial (production) numbers of the car.
It also shows correct paint codes and the options for the different models of the car (deluxe, standard, or export).
This period of the production of the Beetle is probably the favorite for any vintage fan and this book is definately an interesting and informative read.

The National Electric Estimator 2000 is a great resource. I have used several of the National Estimator books from Craftsman in the past and have been more than pleased with the quality, this one is no exception. From the estimating tables to the information about various aspects of the electrical trade I was impressed repeatedly with how easy it was to access and use the information. An added bonus is the cd which is included with the book. This cd is the National Electrical Estimator program and contains all of the information that is in the book. This program alone is worth the purchase price of the book! All of the tables are fully editable, from the tax rate to labor and materials costs, this program could be a valuable estimating tool for any small business. I highly recommend this book!

What a GREAT BOOK! I love it! Plan on buying ALL of the series.

I really like this book. Not only does it have some awesome, fun and easy-to-do activities in it, I like the way it's organized. It's organized by topic (i.e., science, math, etc), there's a great picture-and-word table of contents, and each activity has an age level written on it, so you can easily choose which activity is right for your child. I like the fact that the activities use things you find around the house or outside, instead of having to go buy things to do the activities. That's important for a mom on welfare who wants to educate and have fun with her three children!

This book is great. It has a lot of ideas for games and activities that are educational and still fun. Each activity also has an age range with it which is helpful. The activities that I have done, from the book, with my 5 year old son didn't even involve a lot of planning or extra supplies.

What a delightful way to generate ideas for spicing up a cozy/comfy relationship or showing that special new person how thoughtful and creative you are!
