A Good Start For Beginner Web Page Designers
If you want to build your first web site and you have no idea where to begin this is definatley the book to read! This book is very detailed and full of visuals that you will see when you are actually in the process of creating your web page. I find that the pictures are so much more beneficial than long drawn out explainations of what to do. The book is broken into 10 parts. Each part has a series of short, instructional lessons designed to help you create the best web page using your computer. This book starts off with the very first thing you need to do; it makes sure you have a web authoring tool and moves on to creating your web page. This book is like having your own personal professor teaching you how to create your web page. A very helpful glossary and index are also included that will help you understand key terms. This was definatly money very well spent. A stress free way to create a web page!

Complete introduction on Web page for beginners
Easy Web Pages second Edition by Gina Carrillo is a great book for building your own web pages. It provides meticulous step by step direction on where to get free resource, and how to use the resource. I was surprised when I read this book, because it supplies so many good website resources, and it even show you places to promote your finished site. The book contain three catogories, which then divided into numerous chapters.(But they are really fun to read and easy to understand). The first one teaches how to use programs to build website. The second one teaches how to use HTML to build website. The third one provides all the general informations that a beginner should know for websites.

Easiest way to learn how to make web pages seen to date
While the expectations of web page viewers has never been higher, it also has never been easier to build them. Software to semi-automatically create pages is available, efficient and often inexpensive. One of the packages that most satisfies these criteria is Microsoft FrontPage Express. Bundled free with many applications, including Internet Explorer, it is the package illustrated in this book.
The style of presentation is a series of screen shots with notational marks indicating where to click. These pictures are all in full color, closely matching what you will see on the screen. All of the fundamental steps of using the wizards to create a basic page are covered. Specific topics include: adding links, modifying the colors of text and background; embedding pictures, including tables and forms; posting the page online and announcing the page to the world. Throughout this, there is the occasional tip to help the appearance of the page. Presented at the level of the novice, the only prerequisite is the basic knowledge needed to point and click.
Realistically, the day is no doubt coming when your web page will be as much of your public persona as the job you hold, the car you drive and your place of residence. If you have a desire to have a web page and have no idea where to begin, this book was written for you. It is the best introductory book to building pages that I have seen so far.

An excellent introduction to do-it-yourself remodeling.
Okay, I don't do remodeling so...keep that in mind when you look at my Stars score. However, my Daddy did and I like to think that a little bit rubbed off. Marvelous! The content is well laid out, easy to understand, and complete... with work sheets. Plenty of worksheets and checklists. The author seems to have thought of everything. There are seven steps here to take the homeowner, you or I, from first thought to actually doing it. Actually working on the house. Fun but frightening though this book is laid out in such a way as to gift you with confidence and yes, take away your fear. Thus, the title. Fearless Remodeling, a fascinating read. Implement it. Real Help for the Homeowner!
I recently moved into an older home in a new city. Before I even considered any remodeling, I looked around for books that could help get me started. This one was great! The worksheets really helped. I really appreciated how much content there was and how many great suggestions the author had for staying within my budget. Thanks Fearless Remodeling!

What a great book!
Thanks to this book, I stopped a contractor from extracting yet another $5,000 from my wallet. An essential tool ...

One of the best books I've ever read.
Having a keen interest in medical subjects, I bought this book at a discount book store to read. From almost the first page, I was entranced. I have since read this book at least four times (probably more). This book is the journey of a man with a total love of the practice of medicine. He tells of the grueling hours spent as an intern and as a resident, not so you will feel sorry for him, but rather to point out how medicine was his first love, many times to the detriment of the other things in his life.

Some of the stories he recounts are absolutely hillarious, others heartwrenching. The best recommendation I can give is that I have loaned it to several people and they each have given it highest acclaim. Dr. Rainer puts a tremendous amount of himself in this book, telling not only of his experiences in medicine, but also painting what is obviously a self-poitrait, warts and all.

I have spoken to Dr. Rainer in order to get my copy autographed, and he is now a malpractice attorney. If you read the book you'll understand why I mention this. Read this, you will not regret it.

Great book, I loaned and lost it.
I read this about 12 years ago when I lived in San Diego and loaned it and lost it and have been trying to find it ever since. (I kept the dust cover.) Still have it and have tried every way in the world to relocate this book. Have written and called everyone I could think of that had a link to the publishers and the Dr. Great book and so happy to find it once again.

After several years, I keep coming back to this book...
I first read an abridged version of "First Do No Harm" in a copy of Reader's Digest when I was around 10 or 12 years old. After that, I sought out and found this book in my local library. Dr. Ranier's writing is honest and straightforward...He doesn't glamourize or sugar-coat medicine or the sacrifices one makes on the path to becoming an M.D. He also reflects fondly on certain life-changing encounters with patients that I myself remember and think about. Dr. Ranier practices about 40 miles from me and I'd love to meet him and thank him for this book which has not only been an important part of my library for many years now, but also turned me toward the medical profession. Outstanding!

The Humanity of Doctors
I could hardly put this book down until I was finished with it. It was not just eye-opening about how some of the ethical choices in medicine must be made, including the all-too necessary financial considerations. It showed how human doctors are and how difficult it can be for them to have to make heart-wrenching decisions in which there is no right answer, especially when it is clear that, no matter which choice they make, there is not going to be a good outcome for the patient. In spite of their training and attempt to insulate themselves emotionally from their cases in order to remain objective and professional, it's not always possible. Ms. Belkin's descriptions of doctors in tears was very moving, and proved to me that those people chose the right profession, because they really do care about their patients.
I found, by searching for them on the AMA web site, that a lot of the doctors in this book are still in practice in Houston (one is in Albuquerque). This search gave absolute credence to the fact that these stories are not fiction but about real people.

A Jerky look into the TRUE CARE of the Modern Hospital
This book will keep your interests suspended in a state where bed time no longer matters, reading it until it is done and the re-skimming the chapters. Based in my home town of HOUSTON, TX. It gives you perspective on the true heros of the health care system.

This book has confirmed my interests in becoming a doctor and it will serve as a symbol of my ability to serve and my longing to be the best in the field of my choice.

Thank you Lisa, for being fair
Having a child featured in this book, I have read it several times. Lisa did a fantastic job when she wrote this book. You will find it to be a very insightful book. Having lived through this ordeal myself, I know that Lisa tried very hard to make sure that her facts are real and accurate. If you enjoy stories about the medical field I trully believe that you will find this one hard to put down until you have finished it.

Supremely useful
Supremely concise and useful guide to ... yes, things to do in the Boston area with kids. The first edition, at least, is missing only one thing: a map to tell you where everything is.

a great planning aid for the whole family
This family-oriented tour book is easy to use and a valuable resource, with lots of helpful information packed into each two-page spread, including a description of the attraction, address, phone number, admission prices, hours and recommended ages, interesting facts and nearby restaurants.

The 68 attractions include old favorites (Fanueil Hall, Franklin Park Zoo, Make Way for Ducklings Tour) as well as new (Pirate Adventure, Purgatory Chasm, Plaster Fun Time) in both indoor and outdoor settings. This is a quick read and an invaluable resource for families who live near Boston or plan to visit.

A real help
This book was like having a knowlegable and fun loving friend let you in on all the great things to do and see around Boston with kids. We found it very helpful on our recent trip to the area.

Fun Reading
This book is delightful! It is what we were all told as children. Don't be bored - get up and have fun. Create something using your God given talents. A wonderful book to read to your children and grandchildren.

Positive and encouraging
This book is well illustrated. Children (and this adult) find it's message of encouragement and creativity joyful. I'm hoping that the author has plans for more!

I found this book awesome...and so will you
"God Made Something Out of Nothing to Do...And So Can You" is one of the most engaging children's books I've seen in years. The message is delivered in fun, lively verse with colorful, lighthearted illustrations. The book encourages children to think beyond the mundane and use their God-given talents to shed boredom and create a brand new world of imagination. Tim LaBelle's book should be a part of every child's collection.

This book explains how the body works and provides strategies

against having too much sugar, fats or sweets in the diet.
He advises to increase Omega-3 fatty acids, soy, fiber, Ca.,
B vitamins and Vitamins A-E (anti-oxidants)

Dr. Richardson advises us to avoid or minimize red meat, butter,
cheese and to reduce milk consumption. In addition, he stresses
that we should have realistic weight loss goals, reduce smoking

echinacea, flaxseed, garlic, ginger, ginseng, gingko biloba,

He indicates that sleep apneas can precipitate heart arrhythmias.
There is an important section dealing with arthritis. The author
explains that the Cox-2 inhibitors are safer than aspirin for
reducing inflammation. Dr. Richardson explains how chlamydia
are an infectious agent in plaque. In addition, the C-reactive
protein is a marker for inflammation. Special tests indicating
an increase in homosystein levels are causative factors in
blood clots. The author explains how magnets influence pain signals transmitted in sensory nerves. In addition, general

Peak flow devices and meter dose inhalers measure and monitor
air flow. These assist patients in maintaining breathing

knowledge which is a "must read" for your personal medicinal
library.

Great Book for Managers
I liked this book so much that I ordered a copy for each of my managers. I've used it in training and have found it to be extremely useful. My dog-eared copy is one of my bibles for dealing with low morale and employee retention. Thank you for sharing your ideas and that of the people you interviewed for the book.

Packed with practical advice, easy to read and apply
Many how-to books don't deliver what they promise. In some cases, the author never gets beyond obvious generalities, and in other cases the writer speaks as a theorist, not a practitioner. This book that escapes both of these drawbacks. In addition to drawing on her own managerial experience, she offers quotations and workable examples from 125 top leaders she interviewed. Readers will welcome her creative, upbeat, sometimes bouncy style--unlike most books about business. Sample: She titles her section on communication "Ma Bell Did It."

Managers will find dozens of suggestions they can use to bolster morale--leading to greater productivity and loyalty to the organization. I wish I had read this book during my twenty-three years in management, so I endorse The High Cost of Low Morale enthusiastically.

Another great read by Carol Hacker!
I enjoyed this book because like her other books, it offers practical advice for the manager or supervisor. It's got lots of practical information that applies to any business organization. A hundred or so people were interviewed for the book and that in itself adds a lot of credibility to the topic of improving employee morale. Those interviewed shared their perspectives on how they keep people contented in working for them. The author wove her own management experience throughout the book. I highly recommend this guide to managing morale.

Demon's, Computer's, and Chat rooms oh my!
A twisted web of deceit of global proportion. How far will people go to make a profit. This book captured me by page 3 and had me stunned mid way. The character's are easy to identify with and the demon is very real. We all have a sense of right and wrong; which side will you choose. Three hero's fighting against one Demon with upper management and every computer turned on at his disposal. He will come at you with instant messages, he will find you in a chatroom, he will touch you in the cyber world and he can kill you from out of thin air! The plot has many turns and the ending will terrify you with what could come to pass. If you like terror, suspense and want to root for the good guy, this is your book- buy it.

Dobbit Do- An excellent book
I have read alot of books and this is one of the best books i have ever read. I highly recommend that everyone read this book. I feel that it has something for everyone to enjoy. It is very up to date on futuristic technology.

New Age Horror
Nowhere. . NOWHERE do you see horror like this! Dobbit Do is the first of MANY new Age horror books. Dobbit weaves a tale of betrayal, murder, and a little "Techy" philosophy. Don't miss this one. Don't be misled by it's "POD" pedigree. Dobbit Do is a HIT!

Very Useful Book.. It explains everything with graphics which make it very easy fast and practical to use...

Easy is right, even for beginners
Have used the book over and over and have been delighted with the help it has given me. While checking the chapter on "Opening folders" I found pages 61-72 are missing. It looks like a printers error to me and I wonder if others have reported this to you.

so much easier to understand than most computer books.
