Anne Murray went ahead and made a book that symbolizes her album, and her home town of Nova Scotia and put it together in this facinating and breathtaking book.

I wanted a Portuguese course and a good one and this is the only such course around. Great! I now speak perfect Portuguese

While the subject of this book is "music," the author has provided a nice way of determining which works ought to be in one's library, and has done so with panache and wit. His thumbnail reviews of performers is very helpful, and his essay on music criticism is enlightening and entertaining. Would that more critics and scholars could be so informative and at the same time witty.

This was a great book for its time. It is unfortunate that errors in the galleys suggested by the author were not corrected. Sales suffered as a result. The book should be updated.

This book is very organized understandable and it is somewhere in between easy to hard reading. This book really covers almost everything you need to know about the intervertebral disc.

The author has determined that our birth order is a tremendous influence on our selves -- sibling influences and parental involvement have a great affect on our adult outcomes. Fresh, witty, candid, and honest, Mr. Vaughn is a welcome addition to the field. Instead of wringing his hands in despair, he gives us the motivation and necessary insight to understand ourselves and others more completely.

This is an excellent referance book for trivia buffs, and people interested in music of the past, each song has the Artist, songwriter, when it was recorded, how long the song was in the charts ect ect
It helps solve those silly arguments and bets we sometimes get involved in,

This book tells it like it is. I have saved the cost of the book by reading the reviews. The reviews not only tell about the quality of the recordings but also help toreduce duplication in ordering cds.

This book was great!It had all of the intrest I want in a book. For instant,they had more than one suspect so you didn't know right away who the thief was. I personily love music and C.D.s so it defenetly caught my etention.It's amazing how DavidA.Adler thought of such a great carictor.I bet he had to do a lot of brainstorming to whip up a carictor like that! Well I'm not gonna tell you the whole story! Find out yourself byb reading this great book.

This book describes very precisely all the technical aspects in relation with the compact disc: basics on digital audio processing, error correction, special coding modulation for CD and so on. The only thing we could miss is simply the fact there is no chapter on the DVD CD device: maybe in a further edition ?

In summary, a very good book to be introduced in the CD system, explained in a language which is not too difficult to understand by non-specialists (but some knowledge in DSP would be helpful).
