Moi, je ne parle pas bien français, mais j'ai lu ce livre, et je l'ai bien compris. C'est un livre de puissance et de vérité.

On se forcera de voir la deuxème guerre avec les yeux d'un soldat d'Allemagne. Il adore la France, il parle la langue, et toute sa vie, il adorait la culture et les gens. Il croit sincèrement que l'Allemange et la France se marieront et l'union sera incroyable. L'Allemange a ses musiciens et la France a ses écrivains. Ensemble, les deux pays auront beacoup de grandeur et de puissance.

On peut voir la guerre avec les yeux d'un oncle et sa nièce. Ils sont deux personnes qui n'a pas de nôms ni d'âges. Ils réprésent toute de France-sa blessure, ses gens, ses croyances, et ses rêves.

Le soldat est un homme qui préférait à vivre simplement dans la compagne de la France. Il est pôet et un muscien. Après la guerre, il voudrait de composer la musique à la mèsure de l'homme. C'est son chemin pour obtenir la vérité.

Qui peut détéster un homme comme ça, même s'il est votre ennemi?

Après avoir lu ce livre, vos vues de la France et l'Allemagne dans les années 1940 changeront. Peut-être on peut voir cette guerre avec les yeux des "ennemis". Peut-être les ennemis ne sont pas toujours comme méchants comme nous croyions qu'ils sont, n'est-ce pas?

Jingle has had a tough time at the North Pole. He doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the elves, starting with his name and his size. His real name is Alexander, but he renamed himself Jingle, since he didn't want a human name. He is smaller than the other elves and none of the uniforms fit him correctly. Jingle is asked by Santa to visit Belinda Cooper. Belinda has a problem with her Christmas spirit and Jingle is the elf who will help her with it! Belinda finds herself with an elf who is handsome and handy -- what more can a girl want for Christmas! This was a sweet story about two people who help each other find their place in the world.

Twelve Nights of Christmas by Treva Harte

Marigold Adams, a recent divorcee is stuck up a tree. She thought she saw an exotic bird up there and she was going to save it, but alas, it was only a plastic pink flamingo! Rome Tyler comes along and rescues her but he falls off the ladder! They are stuck together during a snowstorm and it falls on Mari to nurse him back to health. While she is nursing him, he confides to Mari about his problem. Rome is having "performance anxiety" problems and Mari agrees to help him with it. This story simmered with sexual tension.

Santa Claws, a Wyndham Werewolf Story by Mary Janice Davidson

Alex Kilcurt, Laird of Kilcurt Holding is in the United States to pay his respects to the newborn daughter of pack leader, Michael and his wife. He wishes for what Michael has -- a wife and family. He walks down the street in Boston and picks up a whiff of a woman's scent. He has picked up the smell of his woman, his mate. Giselle Smith is dressed as Santa and she is busy ringing her bell for donations. Alex promptly throws a wad of dollars in her kettle and asks her to lunch. This was a great story! If you have read her previous books, Ms. Davidson has a wry sense of humor and it comes through in her writings. I have read all her Wyndham werewolf stories and look forward to the next one!

This was a fun book and an easy read. All three stories were enjoyable. The Christmas holidays were firmly entwined into the three stories. The characters were well developed for such short stories. It is a great book to curl up with on those cold, snowy winter nights!

A very engaging story. If you like dogs and frisbee you'll like this book.

I really enjoyed this book. Although it is quite short, it tells the story of the Gallagher brothers, their rise to fame, and the infamous "Battle of Britpop" with Blur. It is full with a ton of great photos of the world's greatest band. The interview CD was also great to listen to, but sometimes a bit difficult to understand because of their Manc accent. Overall, a good bio.

Published in 1989, this book discusses the potential of late 1980's disc technology like CD-ROM, CD-I, CD+G, CDV, CVD, DVI, EIDS, MOR, OMDR, and OROM. Also provided is a history of early VideoDisc research at Westinghouse, 3M, SRI, NV Philips, MCA, Pioneer, IBM, and DVA. The book goes on to describe non-reflective VideoDisc formats, including Nipkow, Phonovision, Phonovid, Teldec, I/O Metrics, Thomson/CSF, Holographic, VISC, ARDEV, CED, and LaserFilm.

The phrasebook was extremely helpful to carry around on my recent Portugal trip! The CD, however, just moves very fast from basic to difficult. I repeated the first 5 minutes over and over as a result. Still, a worthwhile investment.

Although the Queen story has been told many times and in many ways, this book does it by taking full advantage of the vast library of Queen photos that are available. It is a hardcover masterpiece that is a good beginning to any Queen library, but please don't stop here. I say it's an excellent buy, due to price and photos, but you could find a better telling of the Queen story, thus only 4 stars.

Actually,My review is a sort of complaint.In chapter 11 where troubleshooting was treated,items 1-3 were treated on pages 390-395,but item 4 was not treated,I don't know what went wrong,I checked other copies of it but they were all the same.

Besides discussing CED and LaserDisc, the book also covers the less well-known VideoDisc formats like TED, VISC, VHD, Thomson-CSF, I/O Metrics, ARDEV, and Optidisc. This hard cover book and its soft cover counterpart were the only general VideoDisc books to features CED's on the cover.

This book provides extensive coverage of VideoDisc technology as it existed in early 1984, just before RCA announced their abandonment of the CED system. The first part of the book is a general guide that covers the interactive and instructional aspects of VideoDiscs with an emphasis on the LaserDisc format. The second part attempts to list all the companies involved with VideoDiscs and all the titles available, both CED and LaserDisc. This book was intended to be a yearly publication, but the 1984 edition was the first and only time it was ever published.
