This book is a must have.
I worried a lot about certain things, mostly about getting a disease, or I would put a lot of ifs to everything so as to get myself all worked up, but this book really shows you how to relax and destroy those worries in, well, "one second".

The incompetent manager
If you want comprehensive coverage of the psychology behind failed management, then look no further. Additionally, the organization of the book facilitates dipping in and out according to your interests. On occassion, Furnham's through survey of other's work drowns out his own perspective. Nonetheless, this is a fine book grounded in sound research.

SURE WORKED FOR ME! The 8 LEVELS of LOVE IS AMAZING
At first I thought, could following these prescriptions that take only 5 min. per day actually produce results? I realize now that if I don't know the answers to some of the questions in this book then I have no business in a relationship with my partner. I would never have done the things in this book if I hadn't read them here. Each day that I took one of the 90 prescriptions I ended up with results that more than paid off for the time spent. The most important part of the book for me is the 8 Levels of Love. I am looking for a true soulmate, so it's a real litmus test for me. If a woman isn't willing to at least read those pages with me and start using the 8 levels of love in our life, then I am not interested in her anymore. This is different for me because I used to give women way too many chances to grow and evolve and I ended up with the short end of the stick. Now I am attracting a totally different type of woman. The prescription about money and prosperity also hit home for me. I realized where my issues around money came from which gave me access to changing my ways with money. So the book doesn't just work in your love life. Well worth the money spent.

The Grass Is Always Greener...
"Fifteen" was a short lived series of young adult books published in the mid eighties. The books were written by different authors, and loosely tied together by having the characters in each book attend the same high school (though the characters in one book never seemed to know the ones in the others. The protaganist was always a fifteen year old girl facing universal adolescent problems such as fitting in, crushes on boys, relationships with parents, and self image. There were only six books in the series, which is a shame because they were always interesting and well written. In "Is There A Cure For Sophomore Year?" Maggie has just begun tenth grade and already has a cool new friend named Carol. Maggie would give anything to be in Carol's place. Her rich parents give Carol a huge allowance and let her do all kinds of things that Maggie's overprotective parents don't allow. Maggie feels smothered, and when her parents are suddenly called out of town for a few weeks, it's a dream come true when she's allowed to stay with Carol. However, it isn't long before Maggie begins to see the down side of Carol's glamourous life. Could it be that Carol's parents give her so much freedom because they don't really care about her? This is a good story about learning to appreciate what you have, and not to envy those who seem better off. I recommend it along with the others in the "Fifteen" series. Although the books are out of print, the themes are pretty universal, and most teens should be able to relate.

Must-have for all women.
Not only is this an attractive book, it is very informative. Every woman should read the middle, pink section on breast health which includes a glossary of terms as well as where to go for help. The recipes aren't bad either! Try Hillary Clinton's chocolate chip cookies, Stephen King's Lunchtime Gloop, or Diane Sawyer's Tandoori chicken. Mmmm Mmmm Good!

Don't let the cheesy title fool you!
I happen to know the author of this book. I can tell you that he was horrified at the title that the publisher chose. So don't let the cheesy title fool you. If you're into Kabbalah (qabala, quabalah, or cabala), especially the works of Z'ev ben Shimon Halevi, and you are also in recovery, this book is invaluable. Gerald cuts right to the heart of the matter here. I'm a recovering addict (and an aspiring qabalist) and I am deeply impressed with this material. After providing a brief explanation of Halevi's angle on the Tree of Life, the author relates each of the Twelve Steps to a portion of the Tree and does so in depth. This has allowed me to meditate upon the Steps in a kabbalistic fashion which I find quite powerful.

Lone Atrial Fibrillation: Towards a Cure

Must Read
I have just completed this wonderful book. Everything I wanted to ask my cardiologist has been discussed (not necessarily answered) in this book. I now understand my vagal LAF condition much better. Although, at times, the information is somewhat contradictory; it still lays out the options for us to test. I only wish that the studies involved larger samples. If only cardiologists would obtain the necessary data from patients and enter the information into a centralized database. Then we would have samples of millions instead of hundreds. Thank you Hans Larsen for doing all this work.
