They'll beg for your next "Family Night"!"
We had tried family devotionals before and our children's attention span barely made it through reading a few verses. We never had time to discuss and apply it to their level of understanding until we came across this series by Heritage Builders. Fun activities are interspersed that all relate to the message and have our kids requesting family nights time and time again. Instructions are given to help you adjust for various age levels. We started these when our kids were about 4 and 7 and usually set aside one night per month. Of course it would be even better to do weekly! Currently we are into the "Holiday" volume which is great too!

Practical tool to teach Christian values
This book has made it fun for all of us to do "family nights" (devotions). In fact, the kids are always asking when we're doing it again! They look forward to it, and their enthusiasm makes our job - raising them with sound Biblical principles - that much easier. With this book at your disposal, you'll never have to struggle with family devotions again!

Family devotions that we all look forward to!
Our three kids, 6,8,and 10, just love the fun activities from this book. Their teachers tell us to keep doing whatever it is because they go to school and tell everyone about it. My husband and I like the fact that we don't have to think up the great ideas, we just have to do them and have fun too.

FABULOUS BOOK! FASCINATING READ!
Exciting & readable, this book is a real "gift" for American history buffs plus students of American prehistory. Great to find a new popular book on these ancient people who've left their engineering expertise & artistic talents to tantalize countless generations... Excellent Timeline!

SIGNIFICANT NEW BOOK! GORGEOUS COVER!
Early history, prehistory, is often more fascinating then fiction, as is the case with this fine new book on America's ancient Mound Builders. What a lively page-turner! Excellent ink illustrations intersperse the well-written text bringing a vast period of our prehistoric country to life. Native American stories & imagined lifeways add considerable dimensions to this sound research & sensitive presentation. I look forward to the author's forthcoming novels embracing these periods. I long for the more spiritual relationships with the land ...

STUNNING NEW BOOK!!!
I LOVE THIS COVER!!! The Mound Builders is a landmark book carefully researched, sensitively well-written, beautifully illustrated, & so fascinating that is reads almost like fiction! The second time I read it I realized how powerful & sophisticated ancient American cultures were! I wonder if our own culture can last this long & make such lasting contributions to this crazy world! This new book is radiant with promise & possibilities for use in history & science classes. I live near some ancient mounds & have always wondered who built them & why. Now I feel a whole different sense of pride in this land. This is certainly a book for NOW. We need to save all remaining mounds & honor these early Native American cultures!

Great for the novice home-builder!
If you are contemplating any type of homebuilt a/c, this is a must buy. you should also get the FAA'S AC43.13-1A/2A "AIRCRAFT INSPECTION, REPAIR AND ALTERATIONS". Bingelis does a masterful job of leading you through the various phases of constructing an a/c. His other books are also very good. Good luck on your project- these books will be a significant help. Remember "I'm 90% done with 90% to go."

A must read for anyone building their own aircraft
If you are going to build your own aircraft, you should get this book. I can't put it any simpler than that. In fact, this is the first of a series of books by Tony no homebuilder should be without. For more years than I've been a member, EAA members have opened up their issue of Sport Aviation each month to Tony Bingelis' column "Sportplane Builder" for tips, methods and invaluable advice. This book if full of that and more. In these pages you'll find things you may remember from his monthly column, and many new tips, tricks and techniques. Once you read each chapter you'll wonder why you didn't think of it. Tony builds constantly, boats, bows, furniture, gadgets, and more aircraft than anyone I've ever heard of. I can think of no better person to advise you on building your own aircraft.

An excellent Tarot resource
I had the pleasure of meeting the author several years ago at a book convention that introduced the first edition of her book. I got a copy which I have read and re-read and have thoroughly enjoyed. Patricia McLaine has packed this volume with incredibly useful and insightful information about the Tarot. It is one of the few books on the Tarot that I refer to over and over again.

Highly recommended reading for all serious tarot students.
From the folly and wisdom of The Fool to the nurturinginfluence of The Chariot to the honor and responsibility inherent inThe World, tarot psychic and author Patricia McLaine takes the reader on a memorable and informative spiritual journey through the 22 Major Arcana of the Tarot. After a brief introduction to the system each chapter begins with a basic presentation of a key, including Hebrew letter, key words and occupational aptitudes. Then every possible position of this Key within the Master Spread is discussed for a thorough understanding and ease in interpreting the Life Path of our selves and others. The careful and reflective reader will learn his or her own special role on the Earth plane and in worlds beyond space and time as revealed in our own 'Wheel of Destiny.' This book is highly recommended reading for all serious students and practitioners of tarot divination and metaphysical studies.

This is a great Tarot book.
Although this book is an advanced Tarot book, even a beginner can understand and use it.

The Coaching Skill-Builder Activity Pack
Published in Ring-bound by AMACOM (15 April, 2001)
Authors: Ian Cunningham, Graham Dawes, and Ben Bennett
Amazon base price: $99.95

Practical resource
This learning resource is an excellent addition to any developers' library of materials. It has clear, practical advice on how to develop effective coaches as well as a collection of fine exercises. The exercises are mostly based around real life practice. Too often these kinds of collections are full of exercises that look fun to do but are disconnected from work. This pack does not fall in to that trap. The exercises are graded - from easy to use to those that are more advanced. However the authors give very clear guidance on how to use them and show some examples of how the exercises could be put together to create workshops on different aspects of coaching.

I would recommend this pack unreservedly. It meets a real need - organizations desperately need to develop the coaching capability of their managers and this material will really fill a gap in the market.

Very Valuable Material
I have found this material very valuable for developing managers as coaches. The big plus for me is that the exercises are mostly based around real work. I find that managers do not like artificial exercises that seem too disconnected from real work. Also the provision of the material for use in workshops is first rate. Finally I liked the fact that the authors have given guidance on how to put the materials together to produce a coherent workshop.

Excellent resource
This is an excellent resource for trainers. It has many original exercises as well as clear guidance on what to do with the matierla. Also the introductory material gives a clear jargon-free explanation of the value of coaching. It is the best on the market, as far as I can see.

Found exactly what I couldn't find elsewhere
I run a Real Estate firm dealing with new homes only. I needed to develop a tracking and building method for my onsite realtors to manage custom constrution. This is the only source I've been able to find that gave me a model to use for custom management. The local library carries one as a reference manual, and I looked at it BEFORE purchasing. Great manual!

A bargain at twice the price.
I believe that the dead presidents you spend on this book is one of the best investments you could make as a young business. In effect you are buying many years of research & development that otherwise you would have to do on your own.

A great book, we have found it very useful.
The forms and documents contained in this book have saved me hours. They are clear, concise and easy to work with. I highly recommend this book.

Challenging, Informtive, Useful and fun
All programming books should be as good as this one; and yes the Official IE4 SiteBuilder Toolkit is indeed a web programming book. Alan Simpson covers cascading style sheets, Dynamic HTML, ActiveX controls and VBScript as well as any other author in the technical book publishing industry. Well, there are deeper books on ActiveX but they don't include smart, small, easy to test examples, like this one does. Alan Simpson's examples make excellent starting points for ones own experiments.Larger discussions of object models and technical specifications can also be found here along with listings for electronic (and other) resources to aid in further research and study. The appendix on RGB and decimal color values is a wonderful extra. Yes it's a Microsoft centric book, but you can have a lot fun with this one.

Excellent tutorial book for IE programmers.
I have read many books on Dynamic HTML, CSS, etc., and this is one of the best! While the examples are at times a bit silly or self-indulgent, they always illustrate the point at hand in a clear and intelligent fashion. The author clearly has an excellent understanding of all parts of the DHTML world and leads the beginner through progressively more difficult steps very well.

The one inevitable caveat is that this book is based solely on DHTML/CSS for Internet Explorer and the examples will not work in Netscape. However, this book will provide you with a good understanding of the fundamentals necessary for programming for either browser.

Very easy to read, excellent examples, comprehensive.
I was actually able to sit and read the majority of this book on a flight without access to a computer at all. It really is very well written giving clear examples without over simplifying. You must remember that the techniques are for the most part specific to IE4 and therefore will not work with Netscape but I guess there are other books for that.

All aspects of DHTML are covered in a logical sequence and the only real prerequisite is some experience with web design and straight HTML. The CD is well stocked with examples and tools.

This is not a highly technical book to be digested by pure programmers, but it does provide a root to some powerful techniques for the slightly adventurous web author.

Without any doubt the most read of all of my computer books!

I've read Star Team Dynamics and am convinced that it is one of the best resources on teams and team-building available. The book is full of examples, how-to advice, charts, etc. The author relates accounts of companies who have gone "through the fire" and have come out the other side -- healthy, well-functioning teams. She also tells what NOT to do. The book is well-written, humorous and informative. I highly recommend Star Team Dynamics.

Family Night Tool Chest Book
Excellent book for teaching/ learning basic Christian concepts. We have four kids and like yours, they are an energetic crew. This book gave us really cool, really clever ideas on how to teach what otherwise would be boring 'Lessons from Dad and Mom'. We've really had a ball. Family fun without videos or, dare we say it, TV. Definitely rated 'G' for Grrrreat. I'd recommend this easy to read book to anyone who is interested in making certain their kids have the basic knowledge/ experience necessary to build a life centered on the God of the Bible. My compliments to the authors... Thank you for making a difference.

great book for parents that want great times with the kids
This book is so easy to use you wonder why you didn't get one of this series before. With only a few props and minimum preparation before you can have a great family night. Your children will really have fun and because of that they will remember what they have learned. Every family should have some time each week to reconnect with each other. This books shows you how to share some great concepts of the christian faith and good character while you do this. It is fun for both parents and children. Even if you know nothing about theology or teacher training you will be able to carry out these fun events with your family. Don't put off family nights anymore. Get this book or one of the others in the series and get started.
