This was my first book that got me started with fast food toy collecting. Its got hundreds of full-color pictures of many of the entire series of fast food collectibles from all the major restaurants, as well as plush toys, a foreign toy section, and index. It comes complete with price ranges, manufacturer markings, restaurant, name, and year (from the late 70s to some of 1996) as well as a spot to annotate the toys you own. This book is a must for any collector! John Gaska, Prattville AL.

I recommend this book to all those who love Mustela furo (the ferret).

Professor Leonidas Donskis is my professor at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania, I know him very well, and I can say he is one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known. He's a philosopher, a political analyst, an artist. Read this book and you won't be disappointed!

This book has a large amount of color photographs of his work. The photographs alone show you what a wonderful architect he was. The book also gives you information on all the pictures of his work. Information about the locations, years, and also professional and personal information on Frank Lloyd Wright. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

people, no two opinions of it agree, but it is "central" to our
personal ability to cope with everyday life, and of course make
sacrifices in the hopes of attaining a 'better-life' for ourselves and our children. Here is a clear headed ananlysis of what makes Global Resources the sensitive issue that it is between Nations, and why it is essential for America to adopt a more Global posture in the Economic Community.

I enjoy this book - it covers a lot of information, easy to read, and provides a lot of design ideas for small-medium backyards. The book covers a lot of plants/flowers and their care from seedlings to annual maintenance. It has "tips" on different subjects throughout the book: tips on pruning and growing trees, planting in different climates and "what to expect" in the care of plants you have chosen to grow. Although it does sell itself on "enjoyment of the garden", beginners reading this book might get lost on the overwhelming detail of some of the design areas (more vague on design rather than specific - so you can make it a little creative) Beginners will certainly use the book, but I think it is an ideal choice for a part-time gardener, or a book for a master gardener or garden lover (as a Christmas/Holiday time read while thinking about what they might like to add for coming growing months).

It is a keeper, and will give the reader a wealth of information (some that they might already know by trial and error) Contains great info on weeds, compose bins, greenhouses, plant diets, pests, watering, making an in ground pond or stream, roses, herbs, wild flowers - you name it - this book gives a very nice compilation of things you'll need to know to have a successful garden. You will not be sorry if you get this book.

Celeste Messer's The Adventures Of Andi O'malley is a five volume series of chapter books for young readers where the stories showcase the concept that by doing a good deed for one person, that person will then do a good deed for another, and so on. Andi O'Malley, her family and friends, the eccentric Miss Bluebonnet, Jelly Roll (Andi's guardian angel), and an assortment of other angels and villains will both entertain and inform boys and girls on handling sensitive issues all children will eventual face in real live. The individual titles composing this unique, superbly written, and very highly recommended series include: Angel Experiment J134 (0970217102); The Broken Wing (0970217110); The Gift (0970217137); The Circle Of Light (0970217129); and last but not least, Three Miracles (0970217145).

Very informative. Even shows fakes and how to tell if it is a fake.

I have recently begun collecting glass with a particular affinity to candlesticks. This book has been a great help in identifying various pieces. The authors have grouped candlesticks according to the maker, and photographs and pictures abound. Not only do the authors describe the individual candlesticks, they point out similarities and differences between makers to ensure accurate identification. I am purchasing vol. 2 and look forward to the rest of the collection.

Lesley Anne Ivory surely must have been a cat in a previous life to depict these creatures so wonderfully. Her paintings of cats are among the most beautiful to be found. In this book she combines her artistry with verse. Full color pictures of cats are featured along with text detailing their many virtues. Cats have long been a favorite with writers and scholars, and this book reflects that fact. You will delight in the artist's depictions of graceful felines while reading about the remarkable animals.
