Best Journal I've FoundI purchased one of these journals 3 or 4 years ago, and I've long since filled it up and moved on. Since there's no content in this book, I'll comment on it's "feel." It's a good size, as are most of the ones listed under "blank books" as subject words, for travel or storage in a briefcase or handbag. The cover is not soft; rather, it's kind of like a football, if you've ever held one. Hard, but slightly giving, with a rough but not unpleasant texture to it. The lines are well spaced and there's no "frilly" art/design on the pages, so it's equally suited for a man or a woman.

Timless Creations- A Timeless BookThis book by Margo Rana is fun and informative. The pictures are very detailed, bright and well done, making the reader feel like they own each doll. I got my book over a year ago for $25. I missed out on this great deal, but I hope that others won't. Margo Rana really explains the dolls in full detail, but they are in her own words. She marks pricing well, so when you go to a doll show or are shopping for dolls, you know what is a good deal and what isn't. When Margo talked about the Pink Splendor doll, the last doll she talked about, she commented to the reader about the $900 listing price on the doll. She said, "Be kind when judging this doll; it's not her fault she is so expensive." This book is extremely fun to look at. I seem to find something new and special about each doll every time I read it. I hope that you will buy this book and enjoy as much as I did. Even as a young collector (I'm 13) I find this book a great blessing.

Excellent reading for children! Our child is autistic and many children's books do not hold his interest. However, he truly loves Barney and this book, with its repetitive questions from Baby Bop looking for friends to play in her band really caught his attention. He enjoys when his dad reads the book to him and also when the accompanying tape with Barney's and Baby Bop's voices is played for him

THINK BEFORE YOU........The third book in Charles Reasoner's happy and educational series for very young readers reminds little ones of the value of intelligence.
"Bee Smart" is the cautionary note here - be smart by asking questions, by reading, by being careful with your money, by thinking ahead, and thinking things through.
Excellent advice for all of us - whether young, not so young or older.

A treasure chest of wonderful stories.A book of encouraging stories and poems for our young generation to teach them everything from self-discipline, responsibility, honesty, loyalty etc. Read when George Washington was 14 year's old he wrote 110 best ways to act around people, he called it the "Rules of Civility". Read Walt Whitman's ode to Abe Lincoln, and my favourite by Frank Crane, entittled "Boy Wanted". Though the tittle of this book refers "for Young People" I think adults can without a doubt learn as well. I certainly have and I am in my fifth decade of my life.

Great for anyone working with poor families today!Aponte does a great job of integrating theory with the "real world" of poverty. Students have found this book to be very helpful in understanding the struggles of multi-problem, chaotic families who present for treatment. Aponte uses a strength based approach to build on what they have vs. what they do not.
