Boning

I have a friend who's a very nice guy, but I admit he's a little weird and very hard to figure out good birthday gifts for. I gave him this for his birthday recently and he loved it, which is perhaps not too surprising in retrospect, since his favorite movie is the Texas Chain-Saw Massacre.

This is an extremely useful guide to being your own butcher. If you follow the guidance carefully this book teaches you the basics of cutting meat from your own body. Perfect for the man who enjoys fava beans and a nice chianti.

The boning knife was a really intriging mystery full of terror and suspense. I love the way the author has completely different scenes in some chapters. She leaves little hints in some chapters to tell you it is all the same story.

An excellent book. The simple yet powerful description, together with the well-illustrated pictures, contrasted well the tensions experienced by those who knew of imminent death from the unsuspecting city who carried on life as though they had many more days ahead of them.

My admiration and respect went to Captain Aime Le Medec, Vincent Coleman and John Gammon who proved to be men of integrity by the choices they made, knowing full well the high price that they might have to pay for their choices.

The specific skills series is a wonderful way to help your child develop reading skills. There are several skills in the series like: locating the answer, drawing conclusions,using context, detecting sequences, getting the main idea, getting the facts and following directions. If your child needs help with reading, these will help.

This book deals with the endangered art of carving. Its central issue revolves around this tradition and the tome gives you the expertise to handle all kinds of meat products.

The volume is organized in six basic chapters: foul, beef, lamb, pork, veal and seafood (fish and lobster).

It also comes with illustrations to help you position yourself in the place of the carver.

My opinion is that this book delivers the goods for those who want to get the most out of their meat.
