THE ILLUSTRATIONS IN THIS BOOK ARE VERY CATCHY AS MY ONE YEAR OLD BOY CAN NOT PUT THE BOOKS DOWN. THE STORY IS SIMPLE AND CLEAR WHICH IS PERFECT FOR A YOUNG TODDLER. THE PICTURES ARE EASILY IDENTIFIED AND UNDERSTOOD AS WELL. IT IS VERY DISPLEASING TO HEAR THAT THESE CUTE LITLLE GEMS ARE OUT OF PRINT, AS WE ARE MISSING ONE OF THE SERIES AND NOW WE CANT REPLACE IT!

I never knew the history of darts until I read this book. I recommend it to anyone who plays darts, or is just a dart spectator.

In this sweet book Toby returns for another appearance, this time at bedtime. His mommy washes his ears and his daddy helps him put on his pajamas while Toby says good night to various body parts (Goodnight fuzzy pink ears, goodnight big round tummy and little pink toes). This is a calm quiet bedtime book that can teach your little one to say good night to all his parts then good night to Mommy and Daddy. A highly recommended book for tots!

My 10 month old loves the "Touch and Feel" books! We read some every night before bed and often during the day. She will even turn the pages and babble/read by herself! She loves the different textures (although she isn't a fan of the sticky paint or frogs feet) and pictures. I would recommend any of the "Touch and Feel" books.

what a fun book for the bath. machine washable, too. the attached fish will help your child learn basic colors AND give you two the chance to share some extra kisses with eachother.

My little guy loves to feel the textured items on each page. He is fascinated by the thistles. He rec'd this book on his first birthday and it has held up extremely well over the last year. The story is not the main draw here- It is very simple. The pictures are sweet and gentle. The fun is touching different items with different textures. IF your little one likes Pat the Bunny- they will enjoy this book too!

My Aunt Dorothy (now deceased) was a direct blood line to Thomas Jefferson. Her people were of Sally Hemings. In the 1940's she collected from the Jefferson estate. This is true, Jefferson did father slave children. My father Marcus Smith witnessed my aunt in her collecting from the Jefferson's estate. She has grandchildren in California. California was her final resting place. However, she resided my years in Michigan before going to California. My Aunt went to Jefferson's estate in Virginia, where she met her white relatives (back in the 40's). My father's mother, Georgia now deceased,was a sister of Dorothy. My toddler loves this book so much, the library should just sell it to us! That's why I'm buying it now. It's from British publisher Usborne, so some words may seem different to an American audience. However it doesn't impede the great artwork or the myriad farm equipment explained in the pages. Usborne typically produces quality books, and this one is no exception.

This book has a lot of cars in it. I like the rhyming and learning about opposites. We are buying this book for my cousins birthday - he is two. I remember this being one of my favorite books when I was little. If you really like cars, like I do, you will really like this book.
