Simply Excellent
A must read for everybody! It has helped me in countless real life situations. Worth every penny!

Excellent! The best book ever written on this topic.
I first read the B.S. Syndrome back in 1988. I was so impressed with the material that I personally contacted Mr. Salupo by phone. I spent over 2 hours talking to him about the book, his personal life and the general topic of bullshit. Mr. Salupo wrote me back several days later thanking me for my insights into this topic which everyone practically acknowledges but does nothing about. I found the book very helpful and straight forward. This a work of literature that gets to the very understanding of why our culture has evovled into what it is today. We have bought into bullshit from the time we are born to those final days of life. The book does a splendid job of pointing out how not to become victimized by bullshit and navigating around its dreaded tentacles of self-destruction. Overall, it guide to modern indiviualism in an ever changing world.

Absolutely outstanding! Unique!
For the first time in my life I now understand what people are really saying to me. And I can do it easily, accurately and quietly. The BSer never need know that I know they are Bsing! Learning the "hidden secrets of BS from the bedroom to the boardroom" has helped me regain control of my life. It has returned my power so that I can live a worry free life. No more broken hearts, pockets picked, wasted time by BSers. This book has also helped me on the job so that I was promoted and received pay increases sooner! Wonderful book. There are many benefits to gain in stopping BS cold. This book is guaranteed to change your life for the better.

A must read for any sailor
This is a fantastic novel of sailing written by someone who truly understands the sport. I can't recommend it highly enough. An apparent (but uncredited) sequel is "Fire and Ice" by Paul Garrison. Not quite as good as The Shipkiller, but a fine novel none the less.

Authentic sailing fiction, an rare treat
It is a shame this book is out of print. Good modern sailing fiction is rare. The protagonist knows sailboats and carries out his revenge in an exciting and, more importantly, plausable tale. The book is a little dated in its treatment of the Iranians (It was written when the Shah ruled) but its best quality is its authenticity. A great read for sailors. Why must we go back to the 1800s for good sailing fiction ?

It took me into the heart of the characters.
I've spent time on the ocean, and I've built sailboats. This book conveys the beauty, fear, and wonder of the ocean as well as any sailor's epitaph. The sorrow, joy, and hatred felt by the main character, and and the vengience with which he pursues his antagonist is riveting. My pulse raced for hours on end at the climax of the struggle.

America's Favorite Inns, B&Bs & Small Hotels: USA & Canada 1
I've been reading Sandra Soule's B&B and Inn books for years; they've all been a delight! I have a large library of B&B books and Sandra's are always my favorite, and this one is now on the top of my list. What makes her books exceptional, to me, are the honest descriptions and comments from people like you and me who have actually stayed at each inn/B&B, and in their own words. My husband and I have been avid inngoers for over 25 years, and this, her latest, will once again be the source we use to choose where to stay .. we travel all over the U.S., for business as well as pleasure, and this book is invaluable, especially in unfamiliar places we venture to. The book also lists addresses, tel numbers, innkeeper's names, any restrictions, and of course very good descriptions of each inn and B&B. It's laid out in an easy to use format. Even if we never make it to all of the places she has in her book, it makes for wonderful "dreamtime" reading. Here's a brief example: "Breakfast was served in the formal dining room at a table beautifully set with crystal, silver, candles and fresh flowers. Shirley is a gourmet cook." Here's another: "The terry robes were a nice touch, as was the brandy, chocolate, and fresh towels at bedtime." This book (like all of Sandra Soule's books) is simply the best!

Anatomy and Physiology

Perfect overview book for medicine students
This book is strongly recommended in the education for medical students in the University of Lund. That's why I read it. It's perfect as a startup book for your pre-clin medical studies. It's not deep enough in the physiology part (although anatomy and especially histology is very good) but the integrated approach is really terrific and it makes you understand in a whole new way. If you want to become a good doctor, you should absolutely buy this book, or borrow it a least in your library. The first integrated anatomy & physiology book I've read that's deep enough for medical students. Good work Seeley.

Dr. Seeley makes the complex simple
I had the pleasure of not only getting to use this text in my A&P class but I was taught by Dr. Seeley at Idaho State University. Great text with great explinations. I am still using it as a resource in Physician Assistant training.

Excellent Basics of Anatomy and Physiology
I am sure that people who have read this book will agree that this product is the means of excellent basic Anatomy and Physiology. I have found figures and data tables very clear and easily understandable. Excellent Summaries at the end of each chapter beautifies this product. Clinical facts given from time to time are as interesting and knowledgeable as "Develop Your Reasoning Skills" Problems. This book deserve a chance from every Anatomy student. I conratulate the authors and highly recommend this book.
