Christian Lechner gives a great overview about the relationship of strategy and networking, but he also works on concrete examples. It is the best book to buy, if you want to know something about strategic networks.

Sylwanowicz presents compelling arguments that the key concepts of Duns Scotus' metaphysics derive from a common metaphysical inspiration: that essence is by nature self-moving. He contrasts this with the Thomistic inspiration: essence as the passive recipient of an act of existence which it delimits. One comes away from the work with an appreciation of the unique genius of Scotus, an increased capacity to view Scotistic metaphysics from within, rather than through the lens of another system. This is achieved with a minimum of polemical attitude toward Aquinas and ought to be welcomed by all, regardless of philosophical formation. Neither is the analysis for historians of philosophy alone. A reading of this book can only have salutary consequences for anyone who actively considers these issues on their own. Expect to be challenged but to come away enriched.

This makes learning and remembering words much easier as you can look in the Bedroom and see illustrations of a rug, night stand, bed, pillow, lamp, window, curtain, desk, chair, etc. ... anything and everything you might see in a bedroom is drawn out, numbered, and easily referenced by the vocabulary list provided on the same page. There are many, many, MANY sections ranging from the common (bedroom) to the advanced and technical (space shuttle parts)...

Gives definite articles and plural forms. Illustrations are not in color.

In Philosophy, German owns a kind of originary advantage over many other languages. Martin Heidegger would think of many of those "essential" advantages, but I'd like only to state a quite simple one. The most important part of modern and contemporary philosophy is written in German, and a translation, even a good one, does not entirely cope with the full comprehension of a work. Even more, the better the translation of an important German philosopher you get to read, the more you see a clear need to put your hands on the original. If this is true of Kant, Hegel, and Husserl, it is even more important for Heidegger.

Sein und Zeit deals with many problems, and mainly, with concrete human existence (Dasein). The categories it uses to describe the phenomenon of existence seem strange and abstract in English, and even more in Spanish, my language. In German, they become almost transparent, and you can see words form not a system, but a constellation that gives another sense to the whole picture. German words have an inmediate and concrete anchoring in the relation of the existent subject: they are, in a way, a map of possible relations within a world. I eagerly recommend this book to enrich the hard readings of Heidegger translations. Bye.
