While this is a very good book...IT IS NOT one OF mine. I write only fiction.

The book provides a variety of predicate calculus models for describing, measuring and managing information quality. Material is an excellent balance between theory and practice, with case studies from a variety of projects and institutions.

This book is about mining data streams (or data stream mining). Its title is not very accurate but if you see its TOC you will easily understand.
It covers the main areas of data stream mining and is accurate and informative.
Recommended if you are interested in data streams or data stream mining or mining data streams.

PS. There are some small typos at the first 30 pages of the book.

Everything broken down and easy to understand and grasp with some practice.
Been trying to get a clear concept and direction to expand my improvising and this is it.
Highly recommended.
I'm going to get some of the other books in the series since this one is so good.

In an educational research and practice world dominated by reductivist, decontextualized, disembodied assumptions of cognition - this book is a much-needed challenge to educational researcher and practitioners. Garrison's book illuminates the role of the affective in learning, the emotion in motivation and relational aspects of learning. Garrison's discussion of the role of the precognitive and selective attention in the cognitive process is largely ignored in the field overall. A must read.

I read this book 20 years ago, and it had a profound effect on me. It is deep thinking about the dimensionality of space(s) in everyday life that we take for granted, as to whether a perception highlights one-, two-, or three-dimensionality. A lot of very intelligent and thorough thinking went into this book. I recommend it to philosophers, artists, physicists, and architects or designers.

ISBN 1885222769 - Every opportunity to introduce a child to a book is a good thing - doing it with old friends like Disney and Mickey Mouse is just a little bit nicer. I've always been fond of Disney's sets of books and if this title is an indication of what the rest of the series has in store, buy them all!

Mickey and Minnie plan to enter an alphabet soup contest. The rules? The first ingredient starts with A, the last starts with Z and the rest of the alphabet in between. Oh, and be at the park at 2:30! Goofy, excited about the contest, wants to enter too and makes his own soup. While Mickey and Minnie use food items, Goofy uses pretty much anything that fits the letter he needs. Of course, Mickey and Minnie's soup is more edible... but Goofy's is more fun! Goofy - and only Goofy - would put a jack-in-the-box, jacks and a jump rope in his soup.

The first in this 18 book series (Read and Grow Library) from Disney, this is a large hardcover book and the beautiful, bright and colorful illustrations take up a majority of each page - kids will love them and you'll both enjoy the sometimes tongue-twisting tale of Mickey's Alphabet Soup. Best of all, they'll learn the alphabet almost without realizing it!

A Door Opening Into Everlasting Life is a treatise on the Biblical doctrine of sanctification. Its author Andrew Gray was a renowned 17th century Scottish minister.
It would not take much discernment(in reading this book)to see the sharp contrast that exists between the depth of Christian maturity ,attained by many, in centuries past, in comparison to this century.
Andrew Gray was converted as a young boy and was in the ministry for only a couple of years before his death at 22 years of age. When he was very young he was deeply impressed at the sight of a beggar pouring his heart out to God in thankfulness for mercies received. He was deeply convicted by that sight ,realizing that he had never lacked anything that he needed ,yet he was never so thankful to the Lord for all of the mercies that he received. What is astounding about this book is the depth and level of spiritual maturity(that is clearly evident on every page)which seems almost impossible given the age of the writer.
The book is divided in five sections. The first section gives arguments for leaving sin and living holy.One of the sub-headings being is'Thou mayest be wise,and rich,and formal,and yet damned at last ,if not holy!His thinking is so contrary to the spirit of this age ,and p.20 of the subheading mentioned above has one of the most striking examples of this "Oh,it is good to meditate often on the wages of sin!I know such thoughts,and meditations are held as being too melancholy,but it is the way to prevent sin,and consequently destruction. ...is sin more sweet than the wrath of God would be bitter."This type of counsel is the opposite of what you would receive from many in this generation.
The encouragements and sound exortations to be holy are manifold.In the third section of the treatise (the character of a true believer)the perspective on what the Christians mindset should be is very enlightening:1.true religion is not a burden but a privilege 2.true believers hate sin(a key to growing in holiness)3.believers labour diligently to propagate the gospel of grace4.believers are conscious of God's presence and study to walk under His all seeing eye 5.A believer judges God's way to be the easiest and God's love to be greater gain than possessing the whole world.
A Door Open to Everlasting Life is one of the great treasures on holy living from a spritual giant of days gone by.
Do you want to be more holy? I urge you to sit at the feet of Andrew Gray and plead with God to burn the truths(set forth so clearly in this book)to your heart and soul.

critical, diverse and applicable - a good read.

"Econometric Models in Marketing" provides an excellent overview of current econometric modeling techniques used by leading marketing academics. Several chapters demonstrate the tremendous opportunities for economic theory to help guide the marketing researcher in choosing the appropriate data and the model specification. The book also shows how economic theory can help control for misleading estimation biases. At the same time, it recognizes the limitations of theory for providing useful information to the researcher.
